"The North Carolina Department of Corrections' Web site shows Alston was released from prison on June 22"

What was he in jail for what charges had he faced? You found out he had been in prison but you couldn't do a little further investigation? The more I read, the more I understand why people call it the "Un News". This is just basic journalism and it seems that the Sun News can't even do that anymore. Especially since he was only out for about 5 weeks and then he committed this crime.

Perhaps the Sun News should hire a criminal reporter? They would know how to do just a little bit of an investigation.

Alston is a good friend of my nephew Nick, I know they'll be glad to get back together. Nick told me that Carl Henry's pencil sized and don't hurt nearly as bad as Big Bubba.

I should be a Sun News rporter.

He has been sentenced to 31 years in jail if you add up all his convictions and he is only 35 years old. He has been in trouble since he was a kid, yet he was once again out on the street.

People should be able to sue the corrections department/judges when they let people like this out.

Look at this guys record.
