Sad! Again a person in a place of "trust" has made a big mistake that will hurt so many others. What can be done? Bad is going to happen in the "end times". Prayer.....and Justice if guilty.

We can all agree that if he did this, he is a dirt bag and should be locked up for a long time. But what does it have to do with the Episcopal Church?

Nothing; this priest is Roman Catholic.

"He is the pastor of Maria Reina de las Americas Parish in Mount Olive, N.C., and a supervising pastor of Mission Parish of Santa Clara in Magnolia, N.C., according to the Catholic Diocese of Raleigh Web site."

Just another one of many deeply and highly disturbed "celibate" Roman Catholic priests.

For the most part, Episcopalian priests are much more balanced and less likely to have closeted and predatory sexual problems. But, there are a small percentage of Episcopalian priests that do have their problems, too. Usually, their problems have to do with a Grand Delusional disdain for hierarchical authority and a weakness for outright thievery which also tends to be exhibited in attempts at absconding with church real estate, endowments and congregations, all while claiming to be Orthodox.

But, unlike the Catholic church, which generally just shuffles the deck when a bad card shows up, the Episcopalians appear to be on the brink of forming a special class of their errant absconders, by forming a new parallel "North American Anglican Church of the Absconders" which will unrepentantly seek recognition of their fecklessness from the Anglican Archbishop.

I have seen many abberational comments on this forum, but I have never seen one so self-serving as this.

So orthodox priests who leave TEC are on a par w/RC sex offenders? That's a new low, even for Topix.

Depends upon how you personally rank the Commandments, I suppose.

Glad you enjoyed the humor in the objective Truth of the matter.

Just what exactly is so humorous: a gay-pedophile RC priest, or that my co-editor doesn't bother to read stories before she posts a comments abt them?

I apologize for the above I did not intend to make someone beleive the Priest made a "Mistake". This is a willfull act on his part...the mistake was made by whom ever put him in that position.

I have a entire folder dedicated to TEC or related entities sexual offenses. Maybe since Ken and Sel find this topic humorous I should begin posting them.

Go ahead, TA.

I'm sure that you and Joe DeCaro will get a great satisfaction, not to mention some titillation, from doing so.

While you are at it, be sure to bring your folders on Baptists, TV Evangelicals and Holy Rollers up, too.

Should be very entertaining!

And where did I post that false sentiment?

Besides, what would the RCC do w/more sexual miscreants?

If I would have wanted to post these stories I would have by now. It is just your flippant attitude regarding this subject that is very unnecessary.
