Of course it should be legal!! not only does it have medical purpose but just think of the money the state could make off of taxing that stuff. You have the right to get alcohol and get shitfaced, start fights, and act like an a@@, but not toke it up,get the munchies, and get couch stuck?

Personally I think it should only be by a prescription. I have family and friends that used to smoke it. I don't know if they still do. I think it stinks, it get on your clothes and I just dont like the smell. I do agree that you have a valid argument. I would rather meet some one driving on the road that was stoned rather than drunk. I think eventually it will become legal here in KY. Not only will the state reap the taxes but as with boot leggers and alcohol they get shut down when places go moist/wet....the dealers will also be shut down except for their own use. A question I would like to ask is will the individual be able to raise their own?? If so there goes your tax revenue. May I ask as to what you feel the tax revenue should be used for?
This is what forums are for...discussions with out putting people down because they have different opinions, but respecting their right to
believe the way they do.

Thanks for your opinion and not bashing mine, I do Agree it should be prescribed to people even if Ky does not legalize it for recreational purpose. as far as growing it, driving while stoned, and all that stuff,I believe it should have laws and an age limit just like alcohol does. You asked what the tax revenue should be used for. It should be used to make the state a better and happier place, afteral the main purpose of good ole majry jane is to make people feel better and happier so why not use that money to do the same for the state. As far as the smell goes I am going to have to disagree with you, theres nothing like the sweet smell of bud lol.

I haven't heard one word come from Steve beshiers mouth about legalizing it. All the polititans were in Lexington last night for a dinner ( it was broadcasted on ket) and it looks like the political diffrences are being put aside for now, but not one word escaped the goveners lips about legalizing grass. What a shame. What would really suck for Kentucky would be if Indiana legalized it and not us!

<<Exhibit A for keeping it illegal.

The government does not tax tomatos that you grow in your own garden so that arguement that the government cant tax it is stupid... Its illegal because of its effects and should remain that way.

The primary concern of government is to provide cheap pot for potheads. Thank you
