Does anyone find the spot light on top of McDonald's annoying?

I really don't like it. I like to walk at night or in the morning without see it shining.

It's like a beacon of light summoning all the fat citizens of Leitchfield.

I live about 6 miles out if town and we can see it. I used to live in California and had to deal with seeing those lights on top of the casinos. I can't stand them!!!! I wish they would take down that spotlight. Whats the point?

Here is the email I sent McDonald's 3 days ago, Oct 10 on the corporate website:

The Leitchfield McDonald's has installed a spot light on top of the building that oscillates in the night sky. I frequently walk in the evenings & the early mornings when the sun is down. The light is distracting & takes away from the quality of my peaceful time. I would appreciate it if you would turn it off.

Leitchfield is a small town & everybody knows where the McDonald's is. It's not really helping your business. In fact it's taking business away from you.

Thanks,
Billy

I am sorry for the unsatisfactory experience during your recent visit. Please be assured that we want to provide you with an exceptional experience every time you visit us. From your email, it is clear we did not meet your expectations. Again, I am truly sorry we disappointed you.

The spot light brings in business off of the parkway end of story. It is not for the citizens of Grayson County.

Your a idiot. Get a life. I'm gonna complain to the police on you for being suspicious while you walk around.

What I said is exatcly what your doing to mcdonalds. they have the right to do that. Its not bothering you, its not harming you, its just a damn light.

Maybe while your at it, you can email the city of Leitchfield, hell, email the state and tell them the street lights and lights from the business' are distracting and are harming the enviroment.

Loser.

That light has been there for a long time, if you didn't see it earlier it must have been because Tao blocked your Macula and didn't allow you to see it.
There is so much in Leitchfield that needs attention, sidewalks that are blocked with overgrown brush, a sign in Maw and Paws window facing a public street that says Maw and Paw parking only (I guess they bought the street that the taxpayers paid to pave and to keep up), a building on a main drag that has been wrapped in torn Tyvek for years, and I could go on for days. Maybe you should live and let live, I'm sure some people of Leitchfield think the light is neat. Take your walk and ponder you "Way" and I'm sure you will realize how stupid this newest bit of posturing that your doing really is.
Try to enjoy life without burdening others with your petty thoughts.

well personally i think that this is just a diversion. the city of leitchfield wants us to concentrate on the mcdonalds light so we we wont notice the horrible tragedies they are manifesting behind the scenes. Please tell me you guys know what im referring too! hint hint....public official...four lane road....michael vick....michael jackson. Think about it!
