You blame that on the driver, but you are responsible for that dog just like your kids. If that driver would have hit your dog and wrecked you, would have been responsible for his vehicle and him possibly. I hate it for your dog and your family, but you need to watch out for your dog.

I agree. Your dog gets in the road, and you curse someone for hitting it. So you want someone to risk there life, possibly someone else's life to swerve to miss your dog? I'm telling you right now I wouldn't hesitate to risk wrecking and hurting myself to miss it. If it could be avoided yes, but think about what your asking here. You had better be glad he didn't stop, because he was probably pissed. What if your dog damaged his vehicle? Who do you think should pay for it?? You because it's your negligence that caused it. In sorry for your loss, I really am but you curse someone that bad because of something that is your fault?? Seriously???

no one is to blame but yourself..for letting the dog to be in the road so if your going to curse some one it should be yourself .

I understand how upset you must be. Losing a pet is very difficult. I know you are angry, and sad, and feeling a lot of different emotions after such a hurtful loss. I am sure whoever ran over him/her did not mean to. Not many people want to run over animals or hurt them. I know you can't always keep an eye on them every second, but you almost have to, because it only takes a second for things like this to happen, so try not to be so hard on the person that ran over your pet, and everyone else, try not to be so hard on her, for expressing her anger, I know it is not kind, and it really is not rational, but it is normal for people to react in such a way, as they begin to process such a devastating loss. It does not make it right, but many of us have said similar things after suffering something so traumatic. Best of luck to you, and may your families heart begin to heal in the days ahead.

Okay 2 days have passed, and I get that my anger got the best of me on here!( First 2 were me, 3rd was fiance after he picked our boy up, he was furious also) Sorry for the offensive language, wasnt called for. For anyone who wants to bash me a little more, he Never Ever was allowed to get in the road nor leave my yard, being a curious boy he for some reason did that day. You people are cruel! I hit a dog few months back coming through Peonia with both my small kids with me, I turned my car around and went back to the house and talked and tried to help the people, thats what a human does as well have raw emotions such as the ones I have shown, Shame on you all. Hope you all Have a Very Merry Christmas!!!

You familiar with Bloomington hill??? Someone had to not be looking to miss him its a dang straight stretch down the hill on out toward Anetta, they found him in a driveway not in the road. People like you obviously don't own pets, prolly afraid of the dander or something!! Can't you all find nice words somewhere deep in all that hatred????

I can only imagine how upset you still are, and I know you will be for sometime. I know I do not know you, but it would break our hearts if we were to ever lose our beautiful little rambunctious girl. We have a huge yard and we were all in the back with her, and she bolted one day and got in the road and I flipped my lid screaming and crying hollering for her to come to us and thankfully the woman driving on the highway was kind enough to come to a complete stop so we could get her. Sadly this isn't able to happen often enough, people drive too fast, are inconsiderate, or are afraid once something happens to go back, or maybe some just do not care, and sometimes we turn our head for just that one second and there they go. I can tell you loved your dog by the way you talk, and for some reason you all have been in my thoughts so I had to come back and check this thread. I know it still hurts real bad today, and I want you to know, that I will keep you guys in my prayers, and I will say an extra special one for you and yours tonight. May God bless you all's hearts.

. When someone gets on topix cursing someone like she was for hitting her dog, NO. COMEON now, how many deer are hit in a straight stretch of road? Do you think those drivers meant to hit those deer. I really do hate there loss, but let's face the facts. She is the cause of that not the driver. What if her dog damaged his vehicle? People hits cows in the road all the time, look how big and slow they are, and guess what the owner of the cow is responsible. She should have just kept her damn mouth shut about this. There is not many people going to take her side on this because no one in there right minds are going to risk wrecking to miss a dog. In a freeking sweater or not. If this guy were to have stopped she and her man both might have got there mouths mashed of they were to have talked to the guy like they did on here. And still had to pay if his vehicle was damaged. Keep your animals off the damn road and they will not get hit, shit fire.

I would really love to know who you are. If anyone knows who this person is who's dog got hit and cursed the guy like she did please tell. I want to know who this is please tell. Although I feel sorry for her children's loss because of mommies neglect and down right rudeness. Please tell who she is someone. Maybe next time she will keep her dog on a leash, and god forbid she is driving her car on the road where it belongs and an animal of some kind runs out in front of her. Because as companionate about this subject as she is I know she will risk running off the road and wrecking to miss it. I am thankfully it wasn't me that hit it because I would have been just as pissed at her for letting her dog in the road to risk making me wreck!!! And then if I would have stopped with adrenalin from the scare pumping she talk to me like that. All I can say about this is wow!! I hit a ladies dog one time and thank goodness it didn't kill it but it dented my front bumper. Scared the shit out of me because I locked my truck up and flat spotted a tire. I took the loss without saying anything about the bumper and the tire just because I felt bad for her I hit it. But who's fault was it. It was her fault, and if I would have pushed it she would have been responsible for the damages. Please tell who this lady is??

There is your name buddy want my address??? Turns out he wasn't hit, hence the reason we found him where we did, not in the road, died from a bullet wound to the head! I DID NOT let my dog roam the roads! Nor is the 3rd post that started this from me. So now what?? Wanna talk in person???
