I think the suckers that believe the world will end that day are gonna be scrambling for last minute Christmas gifts the next day when we're all still here.

That date is merely a date, nothing more. Those that believe the things about the Mayan calendar and the Planet X destruction are fools.

I talked to a professor who has a degree in Mayan history and he has lived there all his life. He said that it does not mean the end of the world, but it is the end of an era, and a new era will begin. He explained for example the horse and buggy era, then the auto era, then the flight/space era etc. He actually made more sense than all the other hype I have read.
I thought I would share with you what was told to me.:)

Yeah, don't trust the words of someone educated, trust the words bronze-age texts written by insane desert dwellers.

I agree with you where the Bible says no one will know. I also
attend church and believe in the Bible.
The professor just explained that it was change for a new
era not for an ending of the world.
I apologize I didnt explain it better.

I think you owe everyone an apology for being an insufferable idiot on a site where everything is clearly a joke. That having been said, the world is ending because we exist in it. It may not be in 2012, but we are driving ourselves into the ground with ignorance and blind eyes playing god. When the dust settles and IF humans survive to repopulate, they will blame people like Cheeba. Ya know, the stupid ones.

astroids and space what knots pass by earth everyday and we are still here. Crazy world leaders sit at a desk and stare at launch codes that could end the earth. Terroist's could release dirty gas anytime. It's just another date. There have been countless "end of the world" dates. If the world is going to end, then it is going to end. We can't predict it. Don't you think that if the world was going to really end then, the president would be doing something. And it would be all over t.v. besides the depress history channel.

The End of the World is Obviously Near, Cant you see, The United states would never put a black man in the white house, specially 2 terms, unless the end was near.
