At the border of Toms River and Manchester Twp on Rt. 37 where WalMart wanted to build, I see a new sign which says "We're On Our Way." What is the meaning of that? I'm wondering if approval has been given for the construction of a new WalMart. Does anyone know?

Let's hope not, Alice. The long time residents of Manchester Twp. have already grown tired of overdevelopment which primarily involves northerners who are both rude and clueless. Leave the "Super Walmarts" to places like Brick to build.

Speak for yourself, Im tired of paying the high prices at Manchester Shop-Rite, Pathmark and Stop & Shop. I live 6 blocks from where the wal-mart location would be and I say bring it on!!!

Careful what you wish for; Walmart has already eliminated a lot of the competition on most products.

Two snakes, Perlmutter, Lisa Jackson, the two-legged
snake in Trenton, now working for the Obama Administration; all have long made the Wal-mart situation the laughing stock of the entire area, as the lame excuse to block our Wal-mart construction while other areas of South Jersey have pressed on with new Wal-mart or expanded construction of older stores. Forked River is the local example! The issue has forced the down-sizing of this site's store size. Just listen to the boasting of those who have been in the huge Wal-marts in Florida, in Pa., in the Carolinas, and here we have been held up by unions (thank God for the builders unions that got fed up and faught back. The Manchester Shop-rite has long enough held us up to terrible parking mazes. Drive on, come quickly Wal-mart. There are old people that need the jobs you will provide them. Thank you! |

Right on Wal-mart. We need you. Thank you Builder Unions! Shop-rite, take a hike with your Manchester parkin lot maze! Now old people will find jobs in a new Wal-mat. And that two-legged snake in Trenton, Lisa Jackson, is now working for Obama. The only good thing Obama has done, he got her out of here!

What this area needs, for seniors, is a large vndor of food products and multitudes of shopping area so that we don't feel like cattle going to slaughter at the register. I very often find that products I purchased a few days ago, are no longer in stock. Store is very often overcrowded. We need another outlet. Need a vendor who could provide that shopping comfort for all of us.
