I was at the Dog Park this past weekend and I thought it was a great amenity to the park. There sure was a lot of people and Dogs enjoying it including myself and my pooch. Tax money well spent whether you on a pooch or don't. "nothing wrong with good, honest, clean fun."

Everyone knows that dogs are peoples best friend and and loyal companions, they keep you warm at night, dont yell at you or get mad at you, yeah you have a few rotten apples but is not by choice. Their there to keep you safe and greet you when you come home from a long day of chaos, so if anyone finds something wrong with that move to an isolated area where you eventually will be forgotten and die alone. And thats the end of that! am just a girl who appreciates her three wonderful joyful dogs who keep me at peace when I at times may not be.

I went to this park for the first time today, I have experience other dog parks in other states before moving back to this area of PA and I must say this one is set up pretty well. I have a large dog myself and so I spent my time in that area, the small dog area had no shade and it was a little toasty today so that had to have sucked. The big dog area could have used a little bit more shade because all of the people and all of the dogs were bunched up in what their was. People were freindly and only on 1 occasion did I see someone's dog poop and the person not pick it up. I personally bring a bag along with me because as I said I have been to these kinds of parks before and understand the rules. I recently lost other pooch to an unknown illness that we believe may have been cancer but couldn't quite get diagnosed, so this was a great pick me up for the one I have left.

As for the complaints about building a dog park, I don't have kids but am planning on it and I will happily pay for both the kids educations and the doggie park. Is their better things to spend county tax dollars on, sure, but their are worse too so I just take em both in stride.

It is an asset to any community to have a place where people and animals can socialize, as most believe it is good to have a place where children can be educated and socialize. Just my opinion and everybody is entitled to there own.

I love this dog park. I was able to visit for the first time with my daughter and her dog Otis.
Check out the photos...

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Taurus

As Mars turns retro, emotional tension makes you feel as though you're walking on eggshells. The temperature has risen by several notches, making the situation at home more fraught. Better to clear the air quickly and cleanly than to sulk and brood in ways that simply prolong the agony.
