LIPA says Leisure Knoll's Jan. bills were inflated

More than 350 residents of the Leisure Knoll senior community in Ridge received inflated LIPA bills in January because of improper meter entries in December, the authority acknowledged Friday at a crowded forum to address soaring winter electric bills.

The same problem with electric bills exists at Leisure village west. I will be writing to the state authorities and our elected officials to look into this situation. I would suggest every write letters and compare bills.
