Wow. I went and checked out the new ABC store in Weaverville and got a pleasant surprise. They set up an old working still as art on a mezzanine shelf that must stretch 40 feet. And they have a nicely framed 24” X 18” picture of Popcorn Sutton hanging in plain view.

Got to love them Weaverville folks for trying to preserve a piece of mountain culture and a local folk legend! Thanks Weaverville. Y’all should go take a look; hear?

I can think of a lot worse people to memorialize. At least Popcorm didn't pretend to be something he was not and freely admitted what he was. He was a man with a talent and was a true mountain craftsman. There is an art to making good shine. The only reason the government outlawed moonshine was because they couldn't get their large share of taxes off of it.

Same could be said for all drug producers, cocaine, heroin, crystal meth, amphetamines or growers of premium marijuana, but they are all still criminals and people that buy/bought moonshine from poopcorn were just as criminal as the people that buy crack cocaine or heroin from the local pushers!

So, you are a supporter of criminal activity, just how far do you go with your criminal associations/activities? You know buying untaxed liquor is a felony, don't you? Maybe ATF should pay you a visit?

Negative there ghost dog.... I would not do a ..... hit of crack, shot of heroin, hit of cocaine, snort of crystal meth, or pill of amphetamine with ANYONE..... now a shot of Popcorn's Moonshine or a hit off of a Premium Marijuana joint (once I retire) HELL YEAH!!!! If they were to legalize marijuana, premium or otherwise, my ass would be smokin joints instead of cigarettes. MY CHOICE..... because I am WELL OVER 21 years of age...... the GOVERNMENT'S age of legality. BUT the government will ALLOW BABIES OF 18 YEARS OLD TO GO FIGHT IN THE SERVICE, but not allow them to decide they are old enough to DRINK OR SMOKE! I know by your previous posts that YOU ALONE have decided, with your lifelong career with the government, that alcohol, and bars have and will contribute to the country's demise. If those BABIES are old enough to serve, by GOD, they are old enought to decide what other VICES they choose to imbibe in!!

So, because they are old enough to volunteer to serve in the military, they are old enough to act stupid and put poisons like alcohol and nicotene in their bodies? That just doesn't make good sense, neither does sending them off to be slaughtered for no good reason other than you want to be a "war president" or prove something to your daddy or whatever was the reason "W" did what he did! "Here kid, have a drink, you're gonna get blown up in a stupid war anyway, who knows you might drive drunk and kill yourself or someone else along the way and you won't live long enough to die from cancer in your lungs or mouth/throat!", makes a lot of sense! NOT!

So, you know a criminal masquerading as an FBI Agent, retired or not, if he sold you moonshine, he, too, committed a felony and could not be trusted to uphold any laws. Everything he ever did as a law enforcement officer is now suspect! Way to go! Do we all get to chose which laws we obey and which ones we don't obey?

Ya gonna turn them in, along with me and my grandbabies for wrapping a house on halloween??? Oh yeah, did I mention the house we "wrapped" was my parents, their great-grandparents, who were "in on the deal"???? Holy Shit Batman, we have a conspiracy here! Let ghost dog get a medal of valor for all of his stupendous criminal observation! Hell, obama may even make sure a day in February is named after you!! You, ghost dog, are a JOKE to the True Veterans of America!!!!

You don't figure being old enough to put the "poison of fighting another country's war" isn't OLD ENOUGH to decide if they want to put the poison of alcohol and nicotine in their body???? They are OLD ENOUGH to decide what person they want to REPRESENT OUR COUNTRY AS A LEADER.......but not OLD ENOUGH to decide what poison, or lack thereof, they want to enter their body......... YOU ARE A JOKE OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ARMED FORCES, PAST OR PRESENT, SHOULD BE!!! If I had my way.......... you would NEVER RECEIVE A GOVERNMENT CHECK FOR YOUR service, or lack thereof, WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AGAIN!!!!
