Seen in times news that former sheriff candidate Steve Armbruster has been named Weissport's top cop. This is exciting news, he is gonna restore order in that tiny town.

Steven Armbruster is a great pick, his family are close friends of mine, his family line goes back to 1846 when his great, great great grandfather moved to Mauch Chunk, and served are country in the military. Weissport chose wisely this time.

So I wonder what will happen when council gives orders to the newly hired chief, will he refuse and deem it unconstitutional as he did at Kutztown? This should get interesting so stay tuned

With all the civil right violations that occur in our area ...like the ones that occur in Mahoning Township...Armbruster is a breath of freash air.

Odie is trying hard to be a super cop. He is learning by his mistakes he only had 4 civil rights violations and didnt prosecute one female DUI with injuries after being instructed to attend the hearing. The supers thought he would be a good choice for acting chief to train new officers. What do you expect for 25 dollars an hour.

I expect civil servants to do their jobs properly not make up false interviews and go in witch hunts because that's what they do.

I do agree with you to an extent. In some cases I am sure the police stretch facts to close a case. In my opinion, I think those who are guilty do have a tendency to make false claims when they get in trouble and try to pass blame for thier mistakes.

How many people honestly own up and say they really messed up when they get arrested? Very few. Everyone wants a lawyer and a way out of it.

Not to mention the system is more in favor of the bad guys anyway all it takes is one issue to be raised and charges could be dropped, meanwhile the police are constantly subjected in what or how they do things.
