Maybe all the scumbags were flushing the dirty diapers this year instead of just leaving them lay in the sand.

This place, just like many others, are constantly being ruined by those who need to suck up everything they can get for free without any appreciation for it. 1 more place that USED TO be nice to visit.

i didnt think they needed sewage, most of it ends up in the water and they close te park for that also. however i hear that there are no more lifeguards at beltsville so i would give it time and there will be drownings. a beautiful park overrun by city trash, what a shame.

The park is back open. The darkies and brownies can now go back to the park to litter, fight, play loud music, get drunk, and ruin the place.

They were probably all standing around while the park was closed doing what you said anyway. They just moved their operations inside the park once it opened.

Who in God's name would go in that water anyway. That place always has problems. When something is free it is going to be abused by people with no respect.

This was a great place to go 20 yrs ago.

Now its polluted with trash that let their kids go in the water with diapers.

The people fked up a nice place, but everyone is to blame for letting them get away with it I guess.

I'm not going to be so ignorant to resort to name calling and use racial slurs, but I used to love going to Beltzville.

Last year, I noticed that the bathrooms were absolutely gross and watched a young WHITE teenage girl get caught stealing food from someone's blanket.

This year, we are looking for somewhere else to go. Its not the free part that attracts me and my family but we enjoyed going hiking in the morning up there, having a picnic lunch, and then swimming and playing volleyball.

BTW, I live in the suburbs and I've noticed people putting their babies in our local community pool with diapers on and kids throwing trash on the ground. Be careful when you stereotype other races and cultures, because those middle class white kids are just as bad, if not worse and they may be yours.

Over the past 25 years, Monroe and Carbon County have radically changed. From hard working mountain folk to welfare/food stamp/medicaid anything for free types. Unfortunately, Beltsville has seen its day. This place is no longer worth going to because of the trashy Pocono and, yes, LV element that frequents the place. It is over ridden by those who have no clue how to behave and treat nature. IMHO

Trivia time.

Name one place where the darkies, or brownies have moved in and the: property values have increased, crime has decreased, schools have improved, taxes have gone down, quality of life has increased, and neighborhoods have gotten cleaner?

Come on, just try and name one place.

Fleetwood has become very diverse over the past 10 years and my property value is still rising, not much crime here, no trash in our streets, and we have a great school district.

Our taxes haven't gone down which has nothing to do with it so I don't know why you included that. Educating yourself will broaden your horizons and cure you of your ignorance.

Promised Land State Park is real nice..maybe a little farther though...

I'm sorry, there is just no need or reason to be as ignorant as some of you are with your comments.
