yernogoood- Do me a favour and behave yourself. I conversed with you on the Cape Coral forum previously and would just like to be able to post some questions here, in a serious manner, in the hopes of getting some serious, straight forward answers.:)

I'm moving to LA and obviously need to get my utilities set up. Do I assume that b/c my home is not on City water or sewer, there is nothing I need to do where they are concerned?

I'm going to need internet and cable... and don't know that I want to bother with a home phone. Here in Ohio, we've been happy with a package our local phone company offered, in conjunction with Dish Network - which provided internet/cable/landline.

Any suggestions for cheap :) but reliable cable and wireless - WITHOUT having to get a home phone too?

Any information on other utilities would be much appreciated too... if there's anything I might need to know!

Thanks in advance!

Seriously, nobody can let me know about cable TV and internet service providers and such?!

Does anybody post seriously to this forum? And if not, can any of the jokesters who seem to have the monopoly of this board, point me in another direction?

Thanks again in advance.:(

Hey Red,why dont you open a freakin phone book or go on line to the area you are moving to.Are you that stupid? Has your red head burned you small brain out all together? Anyway, call direct t.v. they can offer you bundled deals W/o needing a land line phone. Oh and another thing, if you dont like us jokesters then i suggest you buy playboy and wack off to that! Now then, did I brighten up your day? And I had all my hook ups scheduled the very day I moved in. You just gotta make a plan man.

Why would utility companies even install anything in Lehigh? None of those bums pay their bills.

Cable - Comcast
Power - Lee Co. Electric Cooperative (LCEC)
Phone - Centurylink (FMR Embarq)
Don't remember the water company offhand, someone else could tell you though, been a few years since I lived there.

We had city water, Spent most of my life on Vineyard St. Went back there earlier this year, the neighborhood has changed, and it's not exactly for the better.:-(
