The cost of annual maintenance would be so great as to make the causeway a toll road making fewer poeple use it.

What would be the advantage of such a bridge?

How would it be funded? More taxes?

What if the developers that want to develop all the land west of the lake built the bridge?

Come on. We are talking about growth. Growth = more spending = more taxes = more money. Even if it were a toll road for $.50 it would be worth it. Sure there isn't much there now but what about in 10 years? Shouldn't we be somewhat proactive in keeping traffic low? Has anyone even been to a big city? I am surprised that the West side hasn't grown prior to now. We may as well get it done now so we aren't all whining about traffic clogging I-15 in a few years at the Pt. of the Mtn. That area is growing like it or not.

This comment comming from a guy in Lehi? The question is what is in Lehi worth seeing other than clogged roads, trash, swamps and run down housing?

Perhaps, he should drive to the west side and enjoy the views, clean air and open space that it provides. This is assuming, of course, he can afford the gas to drive there.
