Almost 8 months ago I was diagnosed with Skin Cancer. Clarks Level 4 Melanoma, to be exact. When I asked the docs how serious it was they took a minute before saying "It's serious."

I asked them to break it down for me and they said that if it hadn't spread then my prognosis was pretty good. However if it HAD spread then my goose was pretty well cooked.

As it turned out, I was lucky. The cancer hadn't spread and surgery was able to remove it (and leave me with one heck of a battle scar too!)

So here I am today on my 40th Birthday, thankful for all of the support I received from friends and opponents alike. Many of you on here voice your support of me during my fight and for that, I want to extend to you my whole hearted thanks.

We may not always see eye to eye in here and sometimes the debate takes a turn for the worst but for those of you who truly care enough about our city and community to get on here a have a real debate about how things are going and what we can do better, I salute you. Keep it up, even if we don't agree, because your voice matters.

Thank you to everyone on here and have a great day!

I dont always agree with mayor rose's decisions and I am in no way defending any of his actions. You are the first one to bitch and moan and the last to take action. If you wanna recall him so badly why dont you get off your lazy arse and start the petition? Just an idea.
