I hear a lot about the corruption. So, I think people need to start bringing it to the light to see how we can better deal with it. Then maybe we can do something about it as a community.

LOL! This community is screwed! Nobody cares anymore....kinda like this country. It's every person for themselves around here, if u could somehow manage to get people to stand together, maybe change would come.

I have always had excellent results dealing with local banks, agencies and politicians. They have been insightful and fair. I know that Shapkoff was a corrupt mayor, but I feel that despite the deck stacked against him Rose has done an admirable job.

Like changing meeting on town business to hours when common folk are at work? Yeah. Ok. Admirable indeed.

I don't think anybody can answer the question. They would rather accuse and sling mud. If there were corruption, somebody would be being investigated. You people are funny!

But I am serious when I say this...you really can't tell who your true friends are because they all know each other and back-stab each other! And if you are an outsider, such as myself, you will be used...
that's kinda like saying that you almost got stung by a bee or that grenade almost exploded. You can't prove a negative. Interesting comment!

I think Lee Hills is being neglected because of the feud between Rose and Dowd. Rose wants him gone. Not ony Lee Hills but have you seen the condition the roads are getting in with potholes. They talk about having surplus then why not at least patch the potholes?? He wants to wait until they are so bad that he can do his front foot assessmenton everyone. the street passes by.

One of the worst parts of the corruption is the police department and their greed for money! Go up there on a day when tickets and fines are paid and the line is all the way down to the first floor....

What that tells me is, that there are a bunch of law breakers out there and the Cops are getting them in line !
Or I know, maybe we can just let you who drive with no DL on your person, and don't have a car with a legal inspection sticker get stopped and now have to not only pay your tickets, and pay for a tow and storage of said vehicle, which is commpounded daily....LoL , go free from now on right???

The laws we drive under have been opn the books for years your 44 years old how long you had a DL with in the 44 years you have been on this great world, did you take a test when you where given you DL this is the simple things we learn as drivers.

You must have missed that day of driving school right ?

And yes I am coming down on YOU as YOU need to stop blaming the cops for your lazyness and take on the adult thing and say yes Officer I was wrong, I need to be given a few tickets as I have LOST MY F'EN MIND DRIVING THIS WAY.

Lol I've noticed that there is this coincidental correlation with people that happen to be a victim of "local corruption" and the fact that these same people always seem to be picked on and hated no matter where they go or live in this world. These poor people just can't seem to catch a break and clearly the entire world is against them. My prayers go out to these poor bastards.

There isn't a single due date for "when tickets and fines are paid" Have you ever thought that they have a certain amount of money they have to make in a year? They already don't get paid anything and then they have to write as many tickets as possible just so they don't get fired by the mayor...

It's funny you should say that Mr. Mike Elliot, since you and Danny are so closely opposed to the mayor.

Lee hills is only a portion of Leesville, an has some of the BETTER roads in Leesville.

But since you are friend with Danny, And are the city councilman for part of the area, I understand your point in trying to bring attention towards the issue, and your opposition to the mayor, being that it is.

But then again, maybe the roads COULD get fixed in leesville if we weren't busy trying to find out why you two stole 100k in health benefits. I am sure a FEW roads could have been fixed with that kind of money.

Corruption can be found anywhere Leesville is no different from any other place. Is it really corrupt or is it a matter of civility and fairness, which varies from individual. Is it simple mistakes that can happen or misunderstandings? I am from both small town and big city, and some of my famliy is part of the good ole boys as you would say but they are good people. If someone goes out and turns your water off over .30 cents do you think every official in the town knows of this unjustice or is it just the guy who who turned off the water and a few others? Cant blame a whole city over others mistakes? I bet many of the things that go on dont get that far up to the officials. Same at Polk a lot of crap goes on but I know the CG is not aware of have it. Why because you have a bunch of dummies who should micromanage but dont because they aren't qualified ~ the same issues everywhere you look.
