The rich are being told that they should pay more so that people sitting on their ass can get a couple of grand at the end of the year in earned income. Where's the fair share in that?

How on earth can everyone being asked to honor their obligation to contribute their, " fair share", to the betterment of America, can somehow be analogized to a form of socialism. Fair share simply means, your part.

Because that 1% take 90% of the wealth, and paying 75% of taxes don't get it. Their "fair share" would be 90% of the taxes. And one need not have gone past second grade to understand the need for "fair share."

How much of your income do you pay in taxes? Are you paying your fair share?

I believe you are getting personal. Its none of your business what I pay. As to what I get, I pay more than my fair share. No medicare, no medicaid, no food stamps, no disability, no free doctor visits. And I have terrible sewer system, falling infrastructure, pitiful roads, I pay more darn taxes than I would like, shouldn't be paying any for the service I receive. You folks on entitlements need to get off you lazy butts and go to work then no one would have to pay more. I pay more than my darn share. At least I tend to think so.
