Sawgie Bottom ATV in Leesville has let me down again. For the second time they did not complete my routine service in the time promised. I dropped it off for an oil change Thursday and the service guy Daniel said it would be no problem to have it done Saturday. I called several times to check on the status today but the service guy was busy doing other things. Then I called at noon and he said mine was next in line. I called again at around 3 and was told it was halfway done but wouldn't be finished today because they were short a tech. Now I won't be able to pick it up until Tuesday. Please understand that the sales staff is great and I have never had a problem buying parts or accessories but the service department there leaves much to be desired

$crew you...It's my money and it is what he promised to do. Hey wait, I think I will be late paying this knucklehead and see how he likes me not doing what I said I would do...When we start making these vendors put a little skin in the game I think we will get better service.

I agree. You get what you pay for. Or do you pay for what you get? Good luck!

Yes I'm sure that's what it was. My phone calls slowed him down so much he wasn't able to get ANY work done, whatever!! One time I called, the parts desk guy said the service guy was out front showing a new bike to a customer and to call back in 15 minutes. It seems that at Sawgie Bottom that selling new stuff takes priority over keeping your word in the service department

Thats the problem today, folks can't wait their turn in line. What if it was your ATV that he was working on and he dropped the work on it to service you? You would be whining about how your ATV wasn't completed because they took care of some whiner that wanted his serviced.

I have doubts that they PROMISED you to have it done Saturday. They might have told you they thought they could get it done. Two sides to every story.

If you are disappointed, go see the owners, let them know what happened, and they will probably be honest and upfront as to what happened.

Better yet, learn how to service your own equipment like most folks do and do it yourself.

I would understand if it were a car that you needed to get to work with, but a 4-wheeler? Take a deep breath, watch some NASCAR, chase your sister, and things will be OK.

Sounds like this is coming from someone that cant afford an atv or to pay someone to do the maintenance for them. Just sayin!

I guess in your world a 5 day turnaround on an oil change is perfectly acceptable. Well sorry but I have to disagree with you there. The fact that I could have done this work on my own for half the price and in 1 hours time only adds to my frustration. I like to get all my expensive equipment services by the dealer for 2 reasons; it is done by proffesionals (?) and so I have documentation that it was done when I go resell a piece of equipment.

You have a point there. It just seems odd that someone not involved would sit down to write a long post like that but maybe some people have nothing better to do. By the way I am posting this while a take a break from yard work. It's hot out there!!!

No affiliation with them, just tired of whining fools like you.

You probably could have changed your own oil in the time it took you to post, read, post, read, post, read, and post again.

I'll call the waaaaaaahhhhhhmbulance for you if you need me to.

No a five day turnaround is not acceptable to me, call the owners and speak with them...but we digress...

There is no place in the blue book that gives extra value for having proffesionals (not sure what that is) change your oil.

BTW I'm not a "professional" but I stayed at a holiday inn express last night!

Your sister's calling....

How ever am I going to sleep tonight after being so harshly ridiculed on topix? Please don't be mean to me I have a delicate psychy!!!! NOT!

I do find it intriguing that no one said I was lazy or a sissy when I posted a good review of M and S repair a few days ago. Makes me wonder if some of these turds may be employees or friends of Sawgie Bottom.

Stupid is as stupid does. Change your own oil and it wouldnt be such a big deal that you have to post it on topix. Don't like the service, call the owners, get it??? Apparently you aren't getting the responses you originally desired. Just listen to your sister....

What I desired was to get people talking about Sawgie Bottom Outdoor Powersports' service dept and that is exactly what happened. Thank you for your participation

It appears what you got was a lot who thought you were a heartless butt. Now we know you are not only that but OBLIVIOUSLY BLIND to the obvious. Sawgie Bottom has always helped me? Why not you? There service dept. has always been quality. You are the first that has ever complained. Typical.

I am a heartless butt because I complained about a job not being done on time?
