I hope this one is worth a damn. He needs to talk to the workers one on one to get any truth. The leadership on the civilan side is a joke. Only this joke hurts a lot of hard working good people. I hope Hickman wants to do a good job and not just get a star like Chinn did.

General Chinn had a star before he arrived here. Once you are a General in the United States Army, does it really matter how many stars you have? No, it means you are top of the line. This is an ARMY installation, not a Civilian installation. How do you expect one person to question every single Fort Polk employee as well as please everyone? You dont get to the status of General on good looks, maybe you should look at his bio as it is quite empressive. There are some military leaders in high ranking positions that I question, but its up to the United States Army to decide who gets what not you. These men and women go before a board for rank, so they are not walking into it. I think he did an awesome job. I will agree with what you said about, "leadership on civilian side being a joke." But that is what happens when you have so many civilians on a military installation working. In my opinion the amount should be nipped in half, and more soldiers should do the jobs like back in the day. I forsee that in the future with the 56 million dollar budget cuts from DOD coming soon.

A rear echelon guy. Has he ever heard a bullet whistle past his ear ?

He spent his career as a XO in a office somewhere. Or as a "cigar-lighter" aide sucking around for some influence.

I don't think he's ever bled from a combat wound or even gotten any blood on his hands.

How do you get 3 stars without ever getting your hands dirty ? Simple" -- join Obama's Army.

I bet you have not, and I bet you never had to order someone into combat until then how bout you join the army go over seas and see if you can even mesure up to Gen. Chinn.

I have had guns pointed at me before. You, pointing your gun at me, does not scare me one bit.

You are a punk and a pretender. You think you scare people with your "sniper" costume.

Not me, dude.

These rear echelon "dudes" are well known by the rank and file. Ask anyone.....if you know anyone.

HAH !!

Once again, we see the "army boys" ganging up on the poor civilian !

"Nuts" "Clueless" "Spam" !!!

I think you guys are all Obama suck-ups.

Army guys.

I think you guys, on orders, would shoot people like me who don't toe the liberal Obama political line.

Wouldn't you ?

As a LTC, K.K. Chinn was Deputy Commander of 75th Ranger Regiment in Iraq, conducted combat parachute drops.
As a COL, he was Deputy Commander of the 82nd Airborne.
Even someone as uninformed as you has surely heard of the 82nd Airborne.
He's hardly "rear echelon."

He's "in the rear" in that he sat in a tent somewhere way back from the shooting. He never heard a bullet. He never faced the enemy. He never risked his life for us. HGe never fought.

Did he ?

Ask him if he ever fought.

Ask him if he ever fired his gun at an enemy?

Ask him if he ever hunkered down in a firefight.

Ask him if he ever stood over the corpse of an enemy.

Ask him.

You won't.

I got no problem with his credentials. YOU'RE the one who so obsessed with his biography. Why don't you friggin' ask him if it bothers you so much.

When you graduate from West Point, are sworn in as a 2LT, go to Ranger School and get a Combat Infantryman Badge, you don't go directly to a "desk job" lighting cigars for the brass.

And BTW, if you're gonna participate in this forum, "man up" and do it!

STOP CHALLENGING US TO DISPROVE YOUR INANITY if you're just gonna whine and whimper like a girl, "Y'all stop ganging up on me," when we do it.

Wuss.

OH ! Bemm-Baich ! I just realized ! Sniper dude ! Have you ever deployed ? Do you have a score ? How many notches ? What caliber ? Longest shot ?

Or is it all silhouettes ?

Have you ever drawn blood ?

No.

Not very adept at trying to subtly change the subject either, are you?

Once more, you get bested and what do you do? You start whining!

As a matter of fact, I have deployed. I have earned an Expert Marksman Badge while in service to my country. And I never cared whether I drew blood, I just didn't want THEM drawing blood.
