we had "sarah jane road" she appeared on foggy nights and was accompanied by eerie noises. it must be true because "many" saw it.

leesville i believe has similar stories like the "water guy" about a guy who killed someone and put them in a water tower or something like that.... lee hills people drank her/him for years.

saratoga texas has the "saratoga lights" that appear on foggy nights down the "railroad track"

The story is that one night the female clerk at the leebos on Texas hwy out by the fair grounds came up missing and they never found her.
Then a few years ago they started cleaning. The inside of the tank when the bones of a female were found at the bottom of the tank, guess every one that drank from the area that it fed I guess had a few extra proteins in there water and a little DNA lol
There was told that there was a suspect but with no body found it just went away.

Does anyone know the story behind that building across from Lowe's? I think it was called Ichiban, but I believe it was a 7-11 or Circle K before that when the supposed incident happened.

So what beans would you like me to spill this blog is urban folk lore just wispers we hear from time to time not much meat but fun to hear and talk about, as for the bones in the water tower I would guess that with the fire at the VPPJ warehouse that the reports of them finding anything in the tower would have been burned maybe but who knows Folk lore is fun to have it sometimes mays it easy to get your kids inside after dark or keep them away from something they should not be around.

This kind of blog should be a fun one so have fun with it and take it with a grain of salt.

Now for the rest of the dumb asses get a damn life and stop being so F'en stuck up or maybe go get you some tail, it works with Swamp hes seems to be a happy guy !!!

All I know is it stayed empty for many years before it became Slackers. I was surprised it stayed open as long as it did though. It's for sale.

I don't remember when I heard about the female in the water tower. I think I lived here when her bones were found and for some reason I thought it was in the N. Ft. Polk water tower because I remember thinking that we used to live on N. Ft.(& S. Ft.) and was glad we drank bottle water but I cooked with the tap water. Ewww...

What about the story of a black female that went missing MANY years ago and when she was found, the authorities never told the family that she was missing her head? It was a few years later that someone contacted the family because they found her head.

There was a girl that went missing in the Leesville area around 1985. I didn't remember her working at Leebos. I thought she was last seen at Leebos. I never knew if it was the one on Alex Hwy or the one on Texas Hwy.

There were lots of rumors of that girl's demise. I don't remember if she has ever been found. There was a body found near Peason that some thought might have been her, but I don't think that was confirmed.
The water tower rumor was one of the rumors though.

I was thinking it was two different stories. Then maybe it was a water tower on Fort Polk. You know how they cover up on a military post.
The other one I was thinking about was a young lady that was last seen getting into a taxi from Polk's PX, where she worked...maybe she's the bones in the tower, IDK.

You are correct IPLO. It was around 1979 and not 1985. I can't remember the girl's name, but she was a young attractive young lady that came up missing.

The rumors that I heard was that 1) she ran away
2) she was dating a local big shot or big shot's son and was going to spill the beans. Anyway there were posters put up everywhere, but I don't know if she was ever found.

The water tank behind the Leebo's on the fair grounds road fell in need of repair. The story that everyone heard was that the girl was found in the water tank.

I can't remember if it was male or female clerk that was killed at the 7-11 on Hwy 1212(before it was Ichaban's). They were left for dead I think in the store.
