Ms. Courtney is a nice person. I know she only do and say what Rose tell her to say. Billy Mcshane is a certified Building inspector for the state of Louisiana and Ms. Courtney is trying to tell this man something about the gutters on his building. She don't know and are acting as a stoogie for Rose and his buddies.

Thank you 28yrresident... you are exactly right! He is too busy pursuing his own agenda! I am telling you he is going to try and do a front foot asessment on the streets to get them done. This means that you pay a set fee for every foot of frontage you have. Depending on the total cost to redo your street! He has regularly overrode the planning and zoning that Ed Polski quit over it

Now that we have gotten on the subject of water lines and roads, a few questions: When are the roads in the residential areas going to be fixed? If the city has to depend on loans and grants to fix roads and water lines, why do they waste money on lawyers to fight and defend the civil service boards decisions? Wasn't the money from increased water and sewer fees supposed to go towards fixing those pesky water and sewer lines? What about the mold problem at the Lee Hills substation? Cutting corners cost the city more than they would have had to spend if the city administration had hired a construction company to do the work.
What pisses me off about Leesville is an administration that would waste money pursuing the mayors agenda insted of putting the money where it is desperatly needed.
They can lay blame for the poor conditions of the roads on leaking pipes under the road. But that doesn't make it true. You can travel these streets and very few spots have leaks in the middle of the roads. I think the biggest enemy of the roads are the non existing drainage. If there was some way for the water to travel you wouldn't have so much road destruction. So if they fix all the leaks and don't address the drainage problem the roads will continue to tear up. A good example is on Boone street in front of the AT&T building. Never been a leak there. Its the drainage. LOL LOL We have fruitcakes running the city.
