i like billy goat hill, walmart, and lowes. i am super-excited about the new market basket. the third street market is to die for. i especially like the way city government works swiftly to eradicate unwanted individuals from the lpd. the ldl is better than usa today and the new york times. wal-mart is a great way to meet singles if you are into the dating scene. want to be excited, try driving through the bakery and smell those donuts!!!! yum yum. leesville used to have a midget stripper and is currently renovating its police department, just think we are only days or weeks away from having a brand new force.... go blue. no need for driving long distances, everthing you could possibly want exist right here!!!!!!! good food, great clubs, biking, hiking, fishing, boating and a whole lot more.

Brand new force? Looks like the same ones that have been there are still there? Maybe your talkin bout anacoco p.d.? If you haven't realized... The road officers have not changed! It was the people you never see, you know... The ones with desk jobs that are gone. I can't recall any road officer name ever being mentioned. Well except of course Duhon. But of course that came from his best friend, green goblin I think his name is? Speaking of Duhon and the goblin, why do you hate him so much? If I remember right you said he didn't give you a ticket when you admitted to not having your seatbelt on. Sounds like he gave you a courtesy warning to buckle up without taking your money. But let me guess, if he would have given you a ticket would you have thanked him and said he was a good officer? I bet you would have showed up to court, without representation, and tried to convince the jury that he planted an un-operatable seat belt on you. Lol! Duhons best friend... I hope you see him during this fiasco and bitch slap him as you said you would! I'm pretty sure you would never be capable of slapping someone again! But remember... I'm sure they already know who you are... I mean they are the police!

I like how its small but the lights on 171 at night remind me of home.

I like the fairgrounds, and all the baseball fields. I like BJ's Diner and how there is bait at almost every gas station in town.

I like the fishing and the weather. I like talking to the people who were born and raised here. I like the history. And as much as I probably shouldn't I like the gossip.

I love all the place you can hunt and fish. My family is here and has been here since early 1900's. I loved ging to LHS and playing ball for the fans. I love how people are friendly. I love how people move off and still check on the town, even if they are bashing cause then I know we left an impression they can't deny. I love that I can get where I am going relatively quick.(besides 171 at noon and after 4-lol) I love that people like troy can come and get educated by the great people of this community.go go gadget nothing but love

i love the educated responses, and how some people do not get even the most simplest form of humor. i love watching pit bulls eat tires. i love junk cars. i really love junk yards, no kidding, scooters is great! i like peeing off my back porch and shooting pool. nothing says fun like riding horses down the highway. wanna have a great time? make your own wine! hey "gidgit" has anyone in your family ever died right after saying "hey come watch this". is the primary color of your truck "bondo"

The greatest thing is getting off of work and not having far to go camp. Sadly, there will be no pits eating tires but there will be plenty of hunting, relaxing, and conversation around the campfire.gggadget have a great wknd I'm out

traveling to leesville? be sure to check out the many flavors and sights of the local flair! transplants from all over the country have found out our little secret. looking for fresh greens? we have them. dont like that good windshield? follow the log trucks a little closer, we remove all mud flaps, chips fly so high, they can even take out aircraft. wanna eat cheap? try the dollar menu at burger king, yum yum! like stimulating conservations? try campfires with your friends. bring a portable tv and your favorite movie(deliverence) and cuddle up and relax...whoooooe! no need for shoes here, save 10's of dollars by going barefooted ...... sorry if i offended anyone, i feel like i must say this so i do not upset people. i am guilty of most of what i joke about, except "deliverence" i really love it here and there are legitimate activities here that are fun. this is a joke, but i still will probably never hear "hey them tires are to big for my truck".

Gadget, your family hass been here since the early 1900's. Do you know about old deridder businesses? I am trying to find out where hillmans tv sales and service used to be.

Here's why, I just moved into a new house with 10'acres and I've got junk piled everywhere from as early as the 40's to include old tv parts business signs and receipts. I've got metal, furniture, keepsakes, farm stuff. So much stuff, it's like a treasure hunt out there. The family that originally owned that land was also here side the early 1900's

Thanks

gpunk, i'll talk to my mother and see if she remembers. we had lots of family from the deridder area. my great uncle "bud" wilcox had a syrup mill in deridder and i believe she stays in contact with some of her remaining cousins. if you want the metal gone, get on the swap shop and i promise someone will take it off your hands. i like the swap shop on kjae, it really works.

I might be giving myself away on this one but I used to work at KJAE as a Dj, and phone answering gal! So yeah I know the swap shop works... We are hauling the metal off ourselves... Thats FREE MONEY!

That would be great if you knew anything about the Hillsmans. The people who used to own this land Im on now are The Shirleys.
