A good place to volunteer

[New to Warsaw]

Hi all.

I am fairly new to Warsaw, and am looking for worthy places in need of volunteers. I have already looked into the animal shelter and Big Brothers Big Sisters (but there is no chapter in Warsaw - they go through Fort Wayne). My family just enjoys helping others and are looking for places who could use some extra hands and care.

The Warsaw Animal Shelter would greatly appreciate any help. Also, the local school system would love to have guest readers come into the classrooms! Grace Village Retirement Home is another great place to check out!! Once you find a church, they will have tons of opportunities for you as well!

Thanks! I didn't know about the schools. What about soup kitchens? shelters? Does Warsaw have anything like that?
