How bad could things possibly be to resort to THIS?? Such a selfish act. Did she think nothing at all of her children?? And everything her husband will have to deal with now? And why do it in her car? She ruined a perfectly good car, that most likely her poor husband will have to continue paying for every month! And why do it out in such an open public place? Did she not consider who might find her body? Poor guy! What if a car with children inside had happened to pull up at that moment? I guess if she didn't consider her own children, then she wouldn't be concerned about anyone else, either. Not wanting to sound cold-hearted, but I just can't wrap my brain around things like this. I guess her family is extremely lucky that she didn't take them out, too. Please everyone, no matter how bad things might be, this is NOT the answer!! The problems don't go away, and you only make things ten times worse for the people who love you. So tragic....

Obviously, you are not familiar with anyone who has Mental Health issues or you would not be so incredibly judgemental!! You have no idea what mental state she was in! You should pray that you never experience such a state!

I didn't know her, and know nothing of her mental health. I can only speculate like everyone else. If there WERE mental issues, I would hope there would be some indication of it in her background check, therefore preventing her buying the gun in the first place. But sorry, my compassion is with the people who are left to clean up her mess.

/Well said, it is truly a blessing to not have ever dealt with depression within your own family or friends. No one knows the level of despair or grief an individual can endure whether it is from within or from an outside source. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as they cope with their shock and grief.

Suicide is the coward's way out.

And don't give me that BS about mental health, blah, blah, blah. People who kill themselves are weak. Period.
I just wish she would've given gun owners a break and thrown herself off a bridge or something instead.

Although I feel like suicide is the wrong way out. Still there is not reason to bad mouth the woman. It could have been anyone including someone in your family and lets be real no one really knows what goes on in someones head but that person. We need to think of the family that she left behind and be thankful they where not around to see what she did and we also need to pray for the family to be strong. Wow is that all you Albany people do is talk down on people. Thats probaly a reason to commit suicide when people like you guys talk about them dang its not like any of you are perfect. So get over yourself and clean up your own mess before you talk about someone elses. No I don't know the woman but don't the dead get some kind of respect no matter how they die or do you Albanians decide their fate?????

Obviously YOU don't know how bad things could be for this woman... My dad always taught me that it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your ignorant than open your mouth and remove all doubt... with that being said you should think before you speak. As a person who has suffered from BiPolar Disorder for 12 years I can fully comprehend what was so bad for this woman. The only difference is I drove myself to the hospital each time matters got too bad. She may have done the same thing had she had support from friends and loved ones. However, NONE OF US know her story, and without that who are we to judge. We should offer sympathy not condemnation. The bible says "Judge Ye Not Lest Ye Be Judge By Your Own Sins"...

Oh, blah, blah, blah, blah, mental disorder, blah, blah...

I've had 2 "friends" of mine commit suicide (seperately, not together). I put "friends" in quotes because that's not what I consider them anymore.
They took the selfish and cowardly way out.
I didn't attend their funerals nor did I mourn them.

If you commit suicide you're doing the rest of us a favor by weeding yourself out of the gene pool. Just make sure you kill yourself before you reproduce.

If you've had 2 friends to commit suicide and you did not grieve for nor mourn their loss then maybe you need to re-evaluate yourself as a friend. Maybe you're the problem and cause...

As I said earlier, my sympathy and compassion ARE with the family. Their own wife/mother screwed them over bigtime. And I DO condemn her for doing that to her family. Sorry, but obviously we have different views on this subject.

Living in or near Albany is enough to drive you to suicide. This place sucks so bad you can hear it.
