Just wondering - what's it like to live on Lake Weiss?

Fun in the Summer when the Water is full pool and a lot of people on the Lake. Now in the winter, water down some, not so much fun. Always good people and slower pace. I strongly recommend

Are there advantages to living on one part of the lake over another? Is it too touristy? I'm thinking of driving there this week.
