Businesses affected by flood in Live Oak

We live outside Live Oak and in an area that is not in a 100 year flood plain and has never flooded before. We had flood waters come all the way up to the back door and within about an inch of coming in. All we could do is wait and pray. The rains stopped about an hour later. Thank God it's over! No way to get into Live Oak, no mail delivery for 2 days now. Thankfully we are preppers, regardless of what people think, and we can survive for months without leaving the farm. So we were in a lot better shape than most of our neighbors. By the way some of our neighbors are asking about how to prep. Seems they may have changed their mind after this.

To answer the question, a prepper is one that prepares for an eventual situation taking care to preserve some reasonable ability to deal with a situation that is abnormal or unforseen.
