Seems like the leadership in Lee have really done themselves proud. Attacking Rome for a building that 95% of the people didn't know existed for not being painted perfect. Look around, Urtz and the boyz don't have a clue whats going on. They just continue to line their pockets with their buddies and make some land contracts work for their benefit. The lee-dership (joke) is a discrace to the community, and showing they can't get along with fellow neighboring communities. Trombley is a joke! He did start the bull! We need some Councilmen that work for the community! Open your eyes guys and you'll see much more garbage floating around that needs attending to. This was childs play! Go figure.

This was an embarrassment. We teach our kids not to do this type of stuff (tattle tailing) and here the so called lee-ders (great phrase Residente) have a formal letter drawn and sent when a simple phone call should have been in order first. Thank you Frank T, crew and Rome for the quick turn around to this situation. On behalf of all Town of Lee residents I apologize for this type of bush league politics. As for land contracts, Town of Lee folks start asking questions, attending meetings and open your eyes.

Who do you think you are apologizing on behalf of the town of lee residents. No apology is remotely necessary. Rome knew that building looked like crap and they had no intention of fixing it. Just like the fencing in front of the reservoirs. Would you like to call Jim Brown on behalf of all of the town residents and request he clean that mess up for us too? But it is not located in Rome, so they could care less. They know it looks like shit.

Lets hear your story about the land contracts. Please, tell us all about it.

TTmyass (or Ron) Do you work for Rome? Do you have first hand knowledge that Rome "had not intention of fixing it"? As for the fencing in front of the reservoirs, I will be sure to check the "mess" out you refer to and yes maybe I will contact a Rome rep to see what can be done about the "mess". Or maybe we will just wait and have another town meeting and send a letter. Been a while since Lee has been in the papers for something like that. Since you seem to have all sorts of knowledge (and time) maybe you could research the amount of buildings or fencing Rome maintains and compare that to what Lee has. Could be an oversight, could be that they are just ignoring it. I am not sure. While you research that I do think a simple call by one of the Town of Lee Board members to make them aware of the "mess" might go far.

The City of Rome painted the pumphouse building on Turin Road firetruck red. Talk about insulting Lee residents with an incredibly ugly eyesore.

Jim Brown just flipped us off with that paint job.

Did the Town of Lee Board request a certain color? Is there a color standard for the Town of Lee? Seems to me that a request was made to take care of the "ugly eyesore" and that was done in a timely manner. Now the color is not suitable. Boy, some would think that some residents of the Town of Lee will never be satisfied. Thank you Mr. Brown for getting the job done.

Look at the Lee Leaderships houses, garages and other things. How much did it cost the people of Lee to supply the materials. Look at some of them. The materials are the same as the towns buildings. Metal roofing, siding, ect...
