Three Arrested, Weapons Seized In Groton Raid

A police investigation into illegal guns at a Groton City residence yielded two weapons and three arrests over the weekend, police said.

You should not be a police officer. Weapons violations are serious crimes and people who commit weapons violations should be arrested, prosecuted and sent to prison.

AK-47's are already banned because they are capable of automatic fire. So no need for a new assault weapon ban. Same is true for a sawed off shotgun. If criminals can get automatic weapons so easily what makes anyone think banning castrated copies (no automatic fire) of assault weapons would make any difference?

None of this crap matters. The anti-gun people consider any gun that has a clip or looks threatening as an
"assault weapon."

New laws, or more endless laws, only give lawyers more money and make the anti gun people feel better.

I don't know who wrote the above comment, but I didn't and I am the only Captain Kelvan Kearse that I am aware of. Also as a REAL police officer I totally aree with the siezure of illegal weapons and the arrest of those that possess them. I was totally shocked and dismayed when I read the ridiculous response written above. The author is obviously an idiot who was probably arrested by me in the past. The real Captain Kelvan Kearse
