Danbury-based Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is embarking on a new chapter in its 77-year history as it changes production of its wood furniture to custom order.

At least some companies are still manufacturing in the US. Check where all your purchases are made including food. Buy American and boycott Chinese goods entirely.

I'd say don't buy any food item from China. They put a lot of hazardous stuff in it. I'm not so sure why they do that.

Eathan Allen does not build their furniture in US. It is crap they import from overseas. Then they either put the parts together here, or they finish it here. then they call it: Made in USA.

Problem is, you have to be pretty rich to avoid Chinese goods, while us poorer folks are stuck with store-bought Chinese (and Indain, Thai, Honduran, etc.) furniture and other goods. Not enough rich folks to make a difference, probably.

There are a few pieces from China sold at Ethan Allen, but come on, over 65% made in America - no one comes close.
