Russell Co. Board of Supervisors Meet NOV 7

[Russell County Future]

I am making a plea to the citizens of Russell County to attend the upcoming board meeting. It is rumored that a few issues are going to be discussed without being put on the agenda. I have witnessed this type of behavior before, and it is a travesty they get by with these deceptive practices. Keep in mind that elections will be the next day, and it is vital to the future of this county that we, as citizens, are informed about the way our county government is conducted. It is worth your time and effort to make a statement, by making an appearance, and let your voice be heard. Keep in mind that these board members are ELECTED officials by the citizens of this amazing county. You may feel that you cannot make a difference, but if enough of us make a stand, it WILL make a difference. Thank you.

The government building behind Wendys. The far left side of the building. The meeting starts at 6:00p.m. I would advise those wanting to attend to be early, since seating is limited. Thank you for you interest in attending the meeting.

Turnout for the Board of Supervisor's meeting was sparce, but I wish to thank those that took the time out of their busy schedules to attend. Since elections are tomorrow, I will take this opportunity to encourage everyone to vote and make your political preferences known. Be an involved citizen of this amazing county...your future and the future of your families depend on it.
