I bank at tb&t. But I have to go to citizens about once a week. They are the rudest I have ever met... the tellers at tb&t are much friendlier. Even if they don't know you, they still speak. I have never felt unwelcome at tb&t like I do at citizens.

So true.....it makes you feel unwelcome ....the people running the bank don't care how the customers feel...otherwise they would get rid of some ppl around there...its suppose to be hometown and some of the girls are not even from Hartsville. I think they should clean house in there and then maybe ppl would like banking there... tc for life I am so with ya....

Everyone there has always been nice, courteous, and cordial to me.

But if they didn't smile or chat me up I wouldn't mind; they're there to do a job, not to kiss my rear end. I go in banks (and stores, etc.) to do business, not to get my ego stroked.

I don't want them to be my best friend by no means but if you went in a restaurant and the server was rude repeatedly would you continue to go back? Same as a convenience store or wal mart.. so therefore they should atleast speak and smile. Regardless if they wanna be there or not. I agree they're there to do a job and I'm there for business but they should atleast ACT like they wanna be there and deal with the public, that's their job.

"SERVICE WITH A SMILE" ring a bell?... if they can't be any nicer than that, they need to be fired and get more friendly people in there.

When you work for the public, whether it's bank, store cashier, restaurant, whatever --- there's always that 1 customer that everybody hates to see coming through the door.

Maybe that's you.

I've never had a problem there. They have always been friendly and helpful to me. I suspect there's more to this complaint than banking, maybe personal jealousy or something.

I have been banking at Citizens for over 2 decades and about to change banks simply because I dispise going inside the bank to do my business. These tellers (other than the two sisters and the new lady) are hateful people and very rude. They ACT like they are too busy to wait on you! Its your job to wait on customers!!!!
