Officials Have to know that ALL of this dirty laundry is going to come out in the long run. The writting is on the wall. Too much water over the bridge. Firing one of the finest officers that the force had was just as STUPID as they can get. They think that by getting rid of Kevin Snavely that all will go back to the way it was!!! NOT HARDLY!!!!! The people of Lebanon are NOT IDIOTS!!! Looks like pandoras box has been opened, and it will never be closed now!!!! The people know too much! Looks like the BOYZ club will be shut down and with a vengence!!! When it happens there are going to be lots of folks getting violations for poo-poo, only it is going to be on the faces of the officials!!! HIDE AND WATCH FELLAS!!!! RATS CAN ONLY HIDE UNDER A ROCK FOR SO LONG BEFORE THEY START TO EAT EACH OTHER!!!! LET JUSTICE BE SERVED!!!!!!

The DA had the Reber family come into his office, at HIS request to sign consent forms for an exhumation, and it was all the smoke and mirrors one could ask for. That cold-hearted SOB went so far as to give Peggy's family false hope of an exhumation, and possible justice. He didn't have the back bone to meet with them himself - no he was "sick" (He could have re-scheduled, so he could PERSONALLY handle this matter) His assistant told the Reber family something would happen within 30 days. Oh, it did. Exactly 30 days later they fired Kevin Snavely.

The Reber's were told not to discuss the papers they signed, and they respected that because they were so hopeful of the DA's intentions, while a county commissioner ran around town running his mouth about the exhumation.

Why is a county commissioner involved in an unsolved murder, and why is he running his mouth when the Rebers must be quiet?

NOW that county commissioner is telling details about the firing of Kevin Snavely. WHY was this county commissioner included in a city personnel issue? The police administrator that broke the policy of privacy surrounding personnel matters should be fired! The administration of the police department clearly broke their own policy, and showed their lack of professionalism. Like Officer Snavely, they should pay for the break in department policy with their jobs. Why are they any different than him?

A new question is taking center stage.. why does this county commissioner have his nose in every aspect of everything in Lebanon? Why are the mayor and DA compromising the professional integrity attached to their offices and jobs, by running their mouths to this man? Any doubts about a "BOYZ CLUB" well, doubt no more.

That commissioner likes running his mouth about everything except the drama involving the DA.
Funny he never mentions that the DA has issues beyond EVIDENCE with this case. The DA has a few "personal" issues with the suspect in this case.

We all scratched our heads at the lack of action on the part of the DA.
Any other DA would be responding to a child's murder, and a public outcry...what stops DA Armold from tackling this case?

His own personal "drama".

Firing Kevin Snavely is a great distraction from the undercurrent that's about to surface.

Meanwhile, a child killer walks free.

In some cases that go before the court defense attorney's worry if the "killer" can get a fair trial because of all the publicity. They ask the trial be moved out of the county We,on the other hand have to worry if the Reber's could witness a fair trial because of our local government. Will they EVER see justice? Maybe the voters will have to clean house first.

I don't know who they are covering up for but I definately believe a well known, prominent person in Lebanon is responsible for the Reber murder. Why else would it keep being throw to the wayside? We need to persue this firing and the murder to the fullest extent and pick out corrupt officials!!!

TO LEBANON OFFICIALS

I swear...you guys make ME look so smart because all of you look so STUPID!

Front page photos with the attorney general while your police force is under staffed, you fire a cop, and a child killer walks free in your midst.
Rub elbows with that attorney general while you can....it's a short lived romance.

Not enough professionalism in the bunch to honor basic standards of personnel matters.

Any employee at Hershey knows their personnel file is PERSONAL. Human resources, ever hear of it?

The ADMINISTRATION of Lebanon's Police Department VIOLATED policy and labor laws ....Hey, that's the mayor, and chief of police.
Who's going to fire THEM?
Oh, you won't...and AGAIN you will look stupid! No write up or suspension mind you.
Officer Snavely broke a policy and he was fired.
I'm not the only one smelling double standards in the air.

Crazy ex girlfriends, crazy ex wives, incompetent police administration, a talkative county commissioner, exhumation papers, but no exhumation, a child killer walks free....

No fellas...I won't be the only "crackpot" when this administration goes down in history.

Welcome aboard!

I think by firing Kevin, the City was asking for trouble. Kevin knows alot and maybe will spill it all. I know if it was me, I would tell everything I know!! If we all stick together, we will get the justice that Peggy and her family deserves and NEEDS!!!I hope to see this animal get strung up and get his just desserts!!

"We don't have enough evidence"
I got off my butt, did my home work, knocked on some doors, and I know what's available to the DA a little bit more than the average person.

I listened to the DA say how he didn't have enough for a grand jury. I keep hearing his challenges with physical evidence with this case. I CONSTANTLY watch him confuse the difference between hearsay, and an eye witness account.
The DA will be asked about an individual seeing the suspect with blood on his clothes, and the DA will respond "Have that person contact me" Yeah, bow to the king. Go to HIM, and make his job as easy as possible for him.
Meanwhile, that same witness ALREADY gave a written statement. Yet with that deer in the headlights look he says "Have that person contact me"
Oh, there isn't just ONE witness, or ONE statement. There's a little bit more to that file than anyone realizes. The truth is the public does NOT have the benefit of all the information unless, and until, the DA reveals it in a court of law.
NO District Attorney, ANYWHERE, should limit court dockets only to the cases with guaranteed wins.

Sadly, there's a little issue of a personal nature that the public doesn't realize. Evidence in this case is a TRUE challenge, but so is the DA's "PERSONAL" life.
When the DA looked at the Reber file and saw a suspect he doesn't view as a threat...well, he knew the the name, and it wasn't from a professional capacity. No, there's some muddy water there, but we don't get to read about THAT in the paper, or did we?
The Reber file should have been handed to the State Attorney General's office at that point, but it wasn't.
Is evidence the real issue with the Reber case, or a few personal skeletons popping out of a young DA's closet?
Let's skip the conspiracy theories of 1968, and get current.
There's A LOT more to this case than the general public gets to see.
The DA had the Reber family come into his office and sign papers giving consent for an exhumation. He was sick that day, so an assistant handled it.(Because the DA knows he has ISSUES with the name in the file?) The Reber family was given a 30 day pocket for such action....30 days passed...NOTHING.
CORRECTION exactly 30 days later the lead investigator of this cold case file was FIRED. If he deserved it? Fire his butt!
Hmmm... a county commissioner was told protected details of that firing, and he's sharing it with average citizens. WHY is a county commissioner told such things by the administration of the police department, and WHY is he repeating them to average citizens?
Yet a FAMILY was silenced by signing papers for an exhumation,( the commissioner wasn't silenced...oh, he knows about the exhumation, too) Peggy's family was given false hope, and the DA still did NOTHING!!!
Can we call that CRUEL, or is political a better word?
Somebody in this forum wanted a few facts, so let's start talking FACTS.
Oh, by the way, original investigators in this case missed a man with a history of charges for molesting minors, he fought with Peggy the night BEFORE the crime, escaped forensic testing, had access to the apartment, cuts on the inside of his hand the day after, his alibi is shattered with statements in the DA's file, he was seen with blood on his clothes, he bragged about the crime, threatened others with doing the same thing to them that he did to Peggy. he was seen entering and leaving the dwelling, and that's just for starters.

To Citizen,
The man who the administration tried to make us believe was a vicious murderer, was NOT the man who murdered my sister.
That is why we are so outraged. Sad that almost everyone in Lebanon DOES know he did it.
(Ex.- one worker says to a new employee, "stay away from that guy, he's the one who killed that Reber girl...Ex.- No don't go out with her, her dads the looney tune that ripped that poor kid apart..walking down the street & pointing to him as you confidentially tell your friend," over there is the monster that did it, but nobody can do anything about it.")
Any remorse Mr. Sicko?? Oh heck no, he goes strutting down the street with a smirk, because he has a GREAT life... Have a drink with your COP buddy at the bar while he slaps you on the back and calls you Bowflex so both of you sickos can have a laugh at my sisters expense, you're having a GREAT life...He's even laughed about and BRAGGED about it when he had enough drinks in him... Raised your children, grandchildren, had a GREAT life!
How many of those children have you molested Sicko??? Maybe the sickest one is your wife! Maybe that sicko wife of yours helped to molest them, eh? I can't think of any other reason for her silence.
If He wants to live where everybody knows his name, he's in the right town.
What I want is for the DA to stop being the little puppet on a string and GROW a SET, and DO THE
RIGHT THING!!!CHARGE HIM..CHARGE HIM..CHARGE HIM!!!
What I want is to have him CHARGED for every sick thing he's done to my sister! I don't even care if he stays in jail. I just want everyone in the WORLD to know his NAME!! I want his name plastered throughout the world so there will be no place to hide! He may have a GREAT life in Lebanon, but once he is out in the open he becomes a target for any righteous person OR any sicko like himself who feels the need to punish him.
He's traveled a lot. How do we know how many precious children or women have suffered, in this state and others, because of the corruption in this town allowing him to get away with MURDER??
We just want JUSTICE!!!

Kathren 1st I just want to say I think you are a angle in your own. If I had to go threw what you have all these years. This man gets what ever he has coming and hopefully it is JUSTICE. And the people of Lebanon want that and we will not stop. They can't fire us. But we can get them out of office and take our city and county back. I also wonder how many sick things he has done to other girls people like the SOB don't just start and stop. but I for one would walk right by him if he was laying at the side of the road and never think twice about helping. I would say 3 words to him. justice is served
