I am ashamed to say I am from Lebanon, Pa. I live in a town where drugs are everywhere and where child killers walk the street able to live and enjoy their lives. We have a district attorney that turns his back on justice and a mayor that only wants his face on camera and a free meal. Is it any wonder our young move away as soon as they graduate? I thought the handling of the Reber case in 68 was handled by a group of goofs, the group almost 40 years later are far worse they are ignoring it all. The only thing they seem to want to do is make it go away and cover it up again. Shame on each and every one of you. Remember God is watching you.

I was Livid this morning when I heard that Officer Kevin Snavely was fired from the Lebanon City Police Department. One has to wonder what drummed up pathetic excuse of a charge they are trying to levy against Him.In Light of the fact that pressure has been put on the DA and Lebanon officials to get up off their @$$es and do the job they are being paid to do this strikes me as being odd.As someone who works in HR I'd so love to see the policy, files, documentation, con versations, and warnings that must take place when you terminate anyone.Someone in City government or places of power must be pretty scared right now to be grasping at straws.Kevin is one of those straws. The Chief, the DA, and the Mayor can come out with any story they want in the next few weeks but it's too late. There are too many of us who will not be convinced by your fabricated stories. It's already over for many in office right now.I can guarantee you in writing the citizens in Lebanon are not stupid.we cannot,we will not be fooled. We will speak with our votes.
So,who's next Lebanon City officials?Maybe you wanna go after Kathy Meador, she just may have an overdue Library Book. How about Mr. Reber?maybe He ran the red light near the municipal building when he turned in those supposedly meaningless 2,000 signatures
.Or perhaps Michelle Gooden?I bet she snuck back in to Lebanon last night and broke in to the "Good Old Boys Club" for a cigar and a drink.
Nonsense you say?My point exactly!
Kevin:Hang in there. You are a good and honest person.Fight the good fight.Prayers will be lifted up on your behalf. You brought hope back to the Reber family. You have the respect of the citizens in Lebanon County. You dared to go where NO ONE has gone before.Thank you for all you have done to inch us closer to Justice for Peggy. We will not give up on Peggy..we will not give up on YOU!
To City officials.."SEE YOU AT THE POLLS" :>)

I thought it was 2008 and not 1968 again. I hope the good citizens of Lebanon clean house at election time, this is unforgiveable. Peggy finally had a good cop in her corner and look how they reward him. Kevin must be to close for comfort. He must have stepped on someone toes. I plan to stomp on toes tomorrow.

shit is getting deep. It is no secret that Kevin has see the Peggy Reber file. He has been the only one on south 8th street that stood up for what he felt was right. He was a one man army standing alone on 8th street. And giving him the boot will make things easy for the mayor and the da. Theres something for the fools on 8th street. In time you will get your walking papers too on Election day. kevin hang in there. There are stations that would be more than willing to have a good man on there force.

Any normal police department would be proud to have Kevin Snavely standing in their ranks.

Gee, Kevin was professionally limited on what he could say about this case a week ago, but now?

He doesn't have to protect "The Boys" and their secrets anymore.

This could get really interesting really fast.

What I don't understand is that the guy who everyone thinks did it was already tried for the murder and cannot be tried again...so what possible justice can be done??? Unless a vigilante would take the justice in his own hands. In the long run when he meets his maker....then JUSTICE will definetly be done!
Let her rest in peace! She is in Gods hands now.........and may God Bless Peggy Reber!

Hmmm... It has been said that when one door closes, another one opens. Could it be that the door that was thought to be closed on officer Snavely was actually a door that was opened and will eventually expose the filth and corruption on South 8th street??? Could it be that they have actually started the downfall of their own little "empire"? Officer Snavely will come out of this, and will prosper. The "good ole boys" have too many fires that need putting out. They will be exposed for what they are. Imagine how embarrassing that will be for their families. Obviously the "boys" could care less for themselves, but they must have loved ones somewhere that will be crushed by their corruptness. What a pity.

I will never believe that Kevin was fired for any other reason than his involvement in the Peggy Reber case. Up until 10 months ago I had no idea of the corruption that ran rampant in Lebanon. It is time for real change. It is not safe to raise a family in this community. Child Killers are left to roam our streets while honest policemen are fired. The officials in this town are more concerned with protecting Killers and and each others indiscretions than our precious innocent children. I am sure that the officials in this town and county think they're safe. The elections will tell another story. Remember Brightbill, Zug, and Nigel? All they did was give themselves a raise!!

Citizen - Art Root is NOT the suspect the DA is seeing in that file. This monster COULD be taken trial. Officer Snavely did HIS part, and we're appealing to the DA to do HIS part.

Again, just another case where cover up is rampant. The bad keep getting worse while the good have to endure their crap. I don't know who this suspect is but he sure must have a lot of information some very important people want to be kept quiet for an upstanding police officer to get a job. Hey, when the EIT Buruea goes under, the employees in that office can get a job with the local government. It appears they work with the same morals and ethics.

I hope to God that someday real soon this opens up wide. When I read the article about Officer Snavely's firing my first thoughts were of corruption. I've been following this case through the papers and the Justiceforpeggy site. Can you say COVER UP boys and girls? Whowever did this must know something pretty bad on someone to have their gruesome crime protected on this level. LEBANON COUNTY JUSTICE STINKS!!!

Has anyone thought about notifying Nancy Grace????? She would be appalled and I'm sure she would have an opinion on this. Take it nationwide on TV!!!!!
