It is said that God created Adam after himself . He gave Adam a mind capable of reasoning, thinking, and even creating, although his intellectual powers, in comparison, are limited. So by that I would think God has free will and chose to pass it on to us. Thus he did not want to control(dictate)us but yet make lets us make our own choices but never saying there would not be punishment for breaking his laws "IF" we chose to break them. That is where choice comes in and where we choose right or wrong. Same as daily laws we live by.
Without free will no one would be telling us what to do. We would be like a robotic world society where everyone is the same and does the same as the others do instead of doing what we choose.
I see my question got you to thinking. I agree to some extent, but not completely. I don't know what a society without freewill would really be like. I do know there are social animals that we can readily use as a model, but this does not mean that is the model that would develop in a species consciously aware of itself.

There is wiggle room for breaking the laws of God based on interpretation. For example the death penalty, which I support, is killing even though one of God's laws is that we should not kill. Now, I am interested to see your response to this knowing that the death penalty is a punishment from the laws of man and that there are arguments over the translation of kill and murder among other issues associated with my point.

I find it personally interesting that I was going to respond to another poster with a post that is uncannily similar to much of your first paragraph.

While, I like your post, it does not mean that you did not infer the criminal history of another poster based on facts not in evidence.

So I'm guessing all you Christians are ok with the whole God condoning rape marriage and such, its in the Bible so it must be ok? Before you say "oh that's old testimate stuff, Mosaic law bla bla bla," God did condone it at one point. So God can just change his mind? Is God just wishy washey then? "Omnipotent" being just changes his mind when he wants, doesn't sound omnipotent to me.

You just prove my point. You are running me down calling me names in this post as well as your others. I am someone you don't even know but yet you say I am wrong for doing the same as you and others do. I guess since you call me a hypocrite that as well has to make you one too. You have a empty argument of calling me a hypocrite and saying I am running someone down or calling them names when you yourself do that in many of your comments to people you don't even know. So at best when you do so said things that you accuse me of doing you are just in fact just describing yourself.
I know you by your posts. I never said I didn't do it, unlike you. I am not a hypocrite because I admit that I deride you. I admit I have derided others. People get what they deserve. Am I supposed to sugar coat things and pat your widdle head when you act high and mighty to others yourself. My argument is not empty and that is pissing you off something fierce. I can tell that from your responses.

No, I am describing you. If you don't get that it isn't my fault.

DanfromSmithville this just goes along with what I said. He says himself he does not believe in deities and such so he does not believe in Gods laws. So one has to wonder how much believe he has in mans laws?

DanfromSmithville I agree with TreeStump it just shows what I said was right. The person says himself he does not believe in deities and such so he does not believe in Gods laws. LMAO

DanfromSmithville I agree with TreeStump, Replaytime and DeltaDogs it just shows what I said was right. The person says himself he does not believe in deities and such so he does not believe in Gods laws. That is a choice of free will not to believe in God. But hey it is his choice and who are we to say it is right or wrong? Ones never knows what is right or wrong but only by the choices we make and the punishment that comes with those choices are how we find out. The whole world is an illusion if you want it to be. LOL

Well sure, one can wonder, but one's wondering is not proof of criminal behavior. He may indeed be a criminal, but I can't get that from his post. seriously from Licking just said that to deride the poster and I got that.

I don't argue with that. But just because he does not believe in God or any deity does not mean that he is a criminal. That was just a ham handed attempt by seriously from Licking to ridicule that poster because he didn't like the nature of his post and likely didn't have a good answer to respond with.

seriously made an inference that does not logically follow the evidence in the post or previous posts because seriously probably doesn't like the idea of such a person or of such a person getting over on him or her.

So you are all explaining to me that you agree with something I never contested. Well thanks for that I guess, though it isn't necessary.

Is it that you are all the same poster or that you finally decided that individually you stood no chance of presenting a cogent argument on this thread and decided to gang up like brave little cowards?

Again, thank your for clearing up no confusion on my part about your position on a subject I didn't not contest.

I would add however, that while he may not believe in God or Allah or whatever, he could still follow the laws of man. Some of which overlap the laws of God.

Gangland tactics don't become true conservatives.

Now you all have stated that this goes along with what you said and to my knowledge the one that made the original statement was seriously from Licking. It is logical then to infer that you are all registered names of seriously from Licking. Very amusing.

And still ignoring the whole God condoned rape marriage and such.......

Speaking of criminals though, did you know that 83% of the prision population is Christian? Atheists only make up 1.8%. Yea, Christians are way more moral than athiests.

Yea, should have worded my first post on "God being a terrorist" a little different, but oh well, just keep focusing on that and ignore everything else I said. Typical Christian debate as usual.

WOW!!! DanFromSmithville you just showed you have NO intelligence at all. For if you read the posts from TreeStump, ReplayTime, DeltaDogs and 10fourRogerThat you would see they all say plain and clear “it just shows what I said was right” in the first sentence but yet you replied to every one of them. You felt the need to becasue you try to think you are smart and think you dominate. Talk about just getting OWNED!!!! LMAO

Now you figure it out is it me from "Licking" doing them all or did I call some friends from "Norwood", "Nixa" , "St Louis", and from "I am around but never found" to play with your little mind. LMFAO
