Guy begging at Wal-Mart

What is the story about the guy holding a sign saying out of work, Me and My family needs help. Is it true does anyone know the story?

If it's the same younger guy around late 20's he been doing it for a while. I seen him there about once a month for the last year.

Sad to say this but that is something we are going to be seeing these days, as the economy continues to spiral downward people are going to have to resort to doing things they would have never done before, If I see him I will stop and ask him what has happened perhaps I can get him and his family some help as I am affiliated with the red cross.

i saw him today. if he is their 2mrrw im going to ask him if he wants to do some odd and end jobs on my farm. like clean stalls. weedeat. im not just going to give him money. some do this as their job act like there dirt poor. if he acepts my inviation i know he realy is in need.

i have stopped and helped a couple people there,but you have to be cautious. One guy in his mid 40's says he was from out west ,and could'nt find work,i can certainly understand that but why would you want to work if your not embarrassed standing on a corner asking for handouts. i watched for twenty minutes after i gave him ten bucks and wished him luck,and i bet ten others stopped as well.Just saying,that if each car gave him the same ,he just made a hundred dollars panhandling. And still i would not have given it alot of thought,but four hours later i was in campbellsville ,and there he was at the wal-mart there doing the same thing,by all means help the fellow man but, don't be fooled into giving away your hard earned cash.

Thats true Helping Hand there are those individuals out there that prey on the good nature of others, one has to be cautious indeed.

Oh and by the way horse trainer that is very noble of you to offer this man a chance to earn some honest cash, I am certain that would boost his self esteem if he is in fact what he says.

the other day i gave him a dollar and when i went to turn away he snatched my wallet and ran. i found him coming out of that liquor store by shell and i beat the piss out of him and poured the steel resevre on his head. if i see him there again ill kill him.

My husband and I drove by the Lebanon Wal-Mart this afternoon and seen that man. We proceed to go to Campbellsville and seen the same man sitting at Colton's parking lot entrance with the same sign, crutch and bag a couple hours later. I wonder how he got there? HUH

f him must have hurt him for him to be on crutches. when i saw him earlier in the week he didnt have any.

Are you people seriously giving these people money. If his family is truly hungry, there are all kinds of places to get help. And if he is movin from town to town, then he sure has transportation and gas money. I watched a program on TV about this very thing. People that make big bucks preying on people's sympathy.

I am NOT a fool, I was going to see if they needed, a home to live in on my farm! They could help with the work. There is more to it than just handing him money.
