For everyone, "laidoff ford worker", get your a** off this thread. If you don't work at CMA, what the hell is your purpose for being on here? After all we country bumpkins are too stupid to understand your educated critique anyway.

In the loop,
i'm doing nothing any different on this computer than your country ass.
Do i need a 4 wheel drive to get to gravel switch. Who are you?
maybe you can get donations to put enough gas in your 4 wheeler to come to louisville.
have you ever been here? I doubt it.
As for the unemployment line, you won't find me there. If you had any brains at all, you would know that i'm getting paid to sit on this computer by my employer( do you know what that word means?)
Get a life and get a real Job!
You ignorant person!
You started off by calling out in the loop then started referencing all the comments that I made.
You are right on the unemployment line part and I caught that after I sent the message, got me there.Employer is a word I know all to well since I still have a job you little pompus person. I actually have a upper management job at another factory in Lebanon. So to answer your question, I don't need to borrow money to get to Louisville.
You also don't need a 4-wheel drive to get to gravel switch, BUT you do need to have at least a little intellect, maybe even a little more than a big mouth and a big man attitude.
Odds are as others have pointed out you're just on here saying things aren't the least bit true. I also noticed you haven't said your name either.
Wonder why?

Watch out guys, Mr. Ford man will pull out the "
your momma" jokes. I guess he watches a lot of wild -n- out on MTV. Maybe he could get a job there. Nick Cannon would love him,.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the idiots on this thread a very Merry X-mas!
I am so thrilled to see that you country asses care about me so much!
And yes gopher mania, i would also like to wish your mom a merry x-mas! She's been working hard the last few weeks to get you a new tire for your 4-wheeler. I even gave her a tip last night!
I also noticed none of you idiots are spelling out your names on here, so why is mine so important?? You are hiding behind your mommas computer as well!
May all of you enjoy your Holidays and i hope your unemployment checks get to you before Feb. I'm cashing my Ford check today!!

I work at CMA and. After reading all the breaking news from Toyota losses on Monday we will be lucky if Curtis stays in business. Just type in Toyota Losses and you will see lots of stories about Monday's news were they took a huge loss this year, pictures of toyota's sitting on car lots were they were not selling.

Shock,
don't get too nervous yet. I've worked at Ford several yrs and we've been losing money for a long time. Toyota is much stronger than the American companies. I'd much rather be in your place, than mine, even though i am sitting on my butt making money. I know it's going to run out sooner or later.

I agree in part of what Ford laid off worker said about toyota is much stronger than the American companies, BUT every automaker is facing tough economic times due to the credit crisis and recession. While we are in better shape, could you imagine months down the road Congress or President Obama giving Japanese automaker a bailout using U.S. taxpaper money? Not likely. The next four or five months will be unpredictable and interesting to see how things unfold.

Is this the same LOFW, oh my gosh. A real revelation, has been revealed to all us poor country folk. Why couldn't you post things more like this prior? Or did your pills just now kick in? I'm in shock, but I think I could get used to this. Thanks for showing some civility. Merry Christmas

Hey! It's Christmas!!!
Most of my jokes were intended to change the subject. I think personal attacks on specific names such as those at CMA were wrong! I couldn't imagine being a person that has to make the tough decisions and see people on here bashing them personally!! I don't imagine any decision that companies have to make right now are going to be well taken, although, i do have 1 strong opinion.
If you don't like it, do something else!
I don't like being laid off, but if FORD is dumb enough to pay people for not working, i'll take it.
Tough times ahead

Toyota losses more money this year since the last 70 years. So I am sure Curtis is not done with the cuts how can they keep all the production if they only have 40 percent of the business.

I understand where you are comming from, they have a 40% decrease in profits. Also that is including the shutdown of the tundra and slow up of other suv's hopefully they wont be culling back many more employees. My wife there loves the job she does, I hope she keeps it for a little while longer. All I am gonan do for the moment is draw my unemployment and go back to school.
