oak barrel cuisine

[disappointed]

i recently frequented this establishment and ordered the Barrel Pasta and was frankly horrified. They would have done better to have went to wal-mart and purchased a jar of bottled sauce. It,to me, tasted remarkably like milk gravy. Not only that it was positively swimming in it. Who's to know if the other ingredients were of any quality at all. At $15 for this and a salad you'd think a decent entree would be served to you. I will not be dinning here agine and it is depressing to me that such a classy looking place is not any good for anything but socializing and drinking. It would do to have someone who can cook doing the cooking.

Probably not. That's what people do, they don't say a word to the actual restaurant and or staff they just go around bashing the place to anyone who will listen to them. I don't even work there and I had the same reaction, why come on here and make your complaint? to be anonymous? It does you no good, next time just tell the person who is working that you are not satisfied. Geez, I hope you never come into the restaurant I work at.

as many topics as there has been on this place, you would think people wouldn't eat there at all. i tried it and didn't like it..i simply don't go there to eat anymore. why waste time and hard earned money on nasty food when you already know what people say about it.

Unfortunately a majority of ppl don't say anything. My mom use to work for Gerber and they hired an independent company to get information for them and they found that probably 40-50 percent of ppl don't say anything to the companies/establishments if they are dissatisfied. They voice their displeasure to every one else. And I would assume that is where the saying word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Since when did The Oak Barrel become a multi state restaurant???
I've eaten there three times. The last time I was there it was significantly better than the previous two. Not spectacular, but it was acceptable.

I tried to get a job there a couple months ago and the owner told me I had the job and never called me back with my schedule, what kind of people are they? If you don't want to hire someone tell them, don't lie to them to their face, got they are stupid, I now currently work in lebanon at chasers and got the job without an interview, I have 4 years experiece with serving, that is why I got the job, I have yet to hear the first good thing about oak barrell? Why is this?
