(AP) Lebanon, KY. Noted animal capture enthusiast Ernie Brown, Jr. of Lebanon pulled 4 large turtles from Spurlington Lake today for relocation.
Unbeknownst to the so-called "Turtleman", the turtles were members of the crime-fighting organization known as the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' who were in Central KY raiding methamphetamine labs with local law enforcement. The whereabouts of the heroes was unknown as of press time.

So cute! My question is if these turtles are living and thriving in their surroundings why do they need to be relocated?

because they bite the cows on the farms when they get into the pond for a dip and if the farmer has ducks or anything they will eat them too. lol usually is the request of someone who is having to deal with the turtles as a nuisence (no spell check! lol)

Turtles will also pull your dog down and bite them. I had a beautiful lab that used to swim all the time until a turtle got his foot one day. He never got back in the water after that.

Mine quit after a Florida trip and she 1) drank salt water 2) saw a manatee. She doesn't swim now.

relocating turtles is a waste of time...turtles move constantly and will re-emmege back in your pond in a few days durring the summertime....they move on every rain...you cant stop turtles from being in any water hole...its just useless to even try. i been catching turtles a lot longer than ernie and know this well.
