How can such a small town continue to have so much drama. This town has so much negative drama that it should be on Jerry Springer. People are always referring to their "haters". Why? Who gives a rats ass how other people feel about them. If you have confidence in yourself no one can take that away from you. A "Hater" can only take from you what you allow them to take. You really should know your own self worth and when you do that what can people do or say about you that could hurt you. Don't wear your feelings on your sleeve and let the dump shit roll off your back. As long as people are talking about you then you are always on their mind and use that to your advantage. Give them something to talk about...show your worth! And, what is it with people in Lebanon always saying "keep my name out yo mouth"..sometimes it pays to keep your mouth closed and then maybe people will keep you name out of their mouths and if you have self-respect for yourself and don't put your business out int the streets then what can a lie do to you? nothing...the TRUTH HURTS.....but, a lie is just what it is....instead of getting on public forums feeding into negative things why not try to put that energy to good use and keep you private business just that PRIVATE! That is a prime example of the right hand not letting the left hand know what it is doing. I'm not saying to be shady what I am saying is that misery loves company and sometimes it is best not to let certain people into your life. When they show you who they really are and you continue to deal with them then you get what you deserve. God gave each of us common sense and more people in this town need to exercise their rights to it. The people here are A NON-M*THER#UCKIN FACTOR!

The site itself is part of the problem. The site should be set up to become a member. No charges , just have to register your name, email, etc, etc. You can still post with an annonymous name, but it would keep the slanderous remarks totally in check. The moderators could have someone to hold responsible and/or BAN from the website........

The problem is not the site but the people's mindsets. This site is only a tool.
TV and internet can be helpful and positive tools if they are used by the person with good intentions.
A pencil is a tool. Do we blame the pencil for misspelled words? I think not, it is your mind that makes the wrong.
Guns are helpful tools if used in the proper and responsible way. If they are not used in a responsible way people can be hurt.
These tools alone will not hurt anyone but with the help of a human they can.
There is so much negativity in our everyday world we tend to forget how to be positive. The news we hear, see and read, the reality tv shows, drama programs and movies are the result of negative happenings in our world. And we call it entertainment. People love to see other people failing or being miserable. Why?
We have a choice to be positive or negative. If you are being negative it is your choice. We really need to focus on trying to be more positive. It takes much more energy to be negative but it is much more rewarding to be positve.
My Papaw always said," If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything."
He would also say," If you spend 50% of your time minding your own business and the other 50% of your time leaving the other fellar alone, everything will be fine."

Was it too many words for you? Come on really? This proves their point of view, if it was too long and you didn't read it, then don't comment.

The change needs to start with the children in this city, there is a fantastic program I have seen on TV that puts a group of kids in one room where they share with each other how they feel and how they have been treated. It is an eye opener and teach them true compassion. This is deeply needed here.

Perhaps if OP had a catchy introduction like they teach in English and if they had put some spaces so their never ending paragraph was easier on the eyes, I would have probably read it all.

As far as children go, parents need to get them away from the TV and outside. This is where they'll meet each other and make friends. Locking them up in a room together doesn't seem like a good solution to me.

I agree, that getting them outside helps. If you have not seen the program how do you know?

It is an option that is worth trying, as at the current rate which is NOT DOING ANYTHING is not working either.

It was just a suggestion, I don't have kids, but I care deeply about the future of the US and we need to make a change and I think that change starts with the children and the people raising and teaching them.

As for "sorry" ah hmm what the heck does that mean.

Everyone sits on here and says so and so is sleeping with so and so and where are the parents and blah blah blah. And now you're saying parents need to let them be outdoors? The children are better off locked up and under a watchful eye then running the streets. Thats how the rumors and drama is started.

The thing is, parents need to be parents and not their children's best friend. Do not depend on a gaming system or tv to babysit your kids! Take them fishing, teach them to hunt or have them read a good book! Be parents!

I love and accept this site for what it is, the unfettered mind of our peers. It is enlightening to know just how afraid we are of the intellectual and how accepting we are of the nonsensical. Try for yourself posting one topic of profound ethical and moral dilemma and one of a slanderous nature only to find that only the later will find a welcome home of opinionated debate. This site is nothing more than a refection of us. Appreciate how rare the flower among weeds.
