If you don't like it stay away. This is a nice place to party we don't need any of that head banging music in there. They have the
bands there that the customers like, thats why they keep comming back. The bands they have are what the people want to hear. You
don't like it then go where they play your kind of music just
leave Poor Boys alone.

Poor Boys Fan. They had the band there before. ACDC is hard not metal rock guess you don't know. I just figure all they can afford is sorry ass bands that are just learning to play. Oh and the one night that 100% Angus played there I haven't seen it that full before or after. Go figure what folks around here want to here.

No guess I don't know and don't care to find out. ACDC was not
one of the groups that I can say I really cared to listen to
but at least some of the bands that play there you can understand
what they are saying not just a bunch of loud music that covers
up the words to the songs. So let's get right to the point if
you dislike Poor Boys so much and their bands then I think I
speak for myself and everyone else that goes there, stay away
find you a place to go where the music appeals to you and stop
complaining about Poor Boys because we like it just the way it is.
The bands and the people who go there always have a good time. So
stop bitching and start worrying about something that matters gas
prices.

maybe they should mix up different bands that play different types of music, it don't hurt a thing to have a good rock band, a good country band a good classic rock band, nobody ever has the same taste in music, but I think every type of music should be given a chance, if the band is good no matter what type and the club is great the people will come, mix it up!

What a cute comment. You know we are just two people who don't share the same views about music and we get a little upset when
people disrespect our opinions, lets just remember that we can't change the world so lets just live life to the fullest and have
fun. Lets not be a hater.

Thanks the comment just came right to me. I like anything but rap. Just like to rock out best. I love anything from bluegrass to classical. It's just that good bands are hard to find. As far as opinion you know what they say everyones got one. Finally, I feel with enough effort, fortitute, endurance, and know how I can change the world. I guess some ppl just have lowered expectations. Peace out!

There are no good bands because a good band requires a little time to establish, and most young musicians donít have the patience to wait it out. most Join band if not a rock star in 3 months quite and join another band 3 months later same deal. Or the other technique is to spread the hand and be in 2 or three bands at the same time and half ass em all.

So give the new bands some time, it takes awhile and allot of playing out to get GOOD and tune the set list. and to that there are not enough bars around here to garner a "music scene"
maybe three or 4? that pay? barly enough to bother draging the ger out of the rehersal room

As far as Angus goes - yea good tribute act but tribute acts are once a year events in clubs.they are special events and expensive to have, if they are good at what they do.
I have been in several tribute acts over the years, and we played in any one bar about once a year maybe twice in the bigger city clubs that help 1000 plus patrons.

Yes the bands around here are good for "around here". Yep ya must lower your expectation or go to lville or lex to hear real music. Heck with gas prices one should just stay home and crank up your own tunes. Or spend $$$ on some crap.

I did search the net with no luck also, alot of the bands do not
have websites. Was wondering myself what kind of music they play.
From the name they sound at least country but I have been fooled
before, like Graffiti Lane sounds totally rock and they play modern
country and classical rock, they are good compared to some I
have heard elsewhere. I just wish all the bands had a website so
you can check them out. They say if you drink enough it will all
sound good well I guess I am not a heavy enough drinker I must
not of ever experienced it yet, the only band I did not like was
Stone the Crow so far and Rock Chick since you like rock you would
like them but they have not been back again so maybe they are not
what people like to listen to, but theat is my opinion and not my
taste in music so my opinion does not count. The point is I would
like to be familar with the band before I go alot of times no most
of the time I am the DD so I like to at least be able to dance to it.
