How do you feel about the open house, picnic and concert that TG is putting on for their 10 year anniversary? Do you believe that the money could have been used differently? What's your thought's on the "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree"?

I think it's good...Of course I am sure that some people are saying they should have given the money to us, but that is unrealistic. It's great that they are involving the community. It only helps us in the long run.

if the company didn't do anything for you, you'd complain too.

I think its a great idea. ive been an employee at tgky for over 5 years. i think its an honor to be able to have the open house/pic nic. tgky is a great place to work. plants are closing and laying off all around us. not saying that tgky is not slowing down, but what buisness in the ecomomy isnt. so i think the tgky employees and the community should be proud of us and come out and support.

Your right about that. I don't work at TG but anything that the company does where I work at is never good enough for some.

The picnic and concert are fun for all involved if they are willing to participate instead of just sitting back on the sidelines and complaining about it. There are a lot of employees willing to volunteer their time to try and make a good time for everyone but some just can't be satisfied no matter what you do for them. I've been an employee for several years and am proud of where I work and am willing to pitch in and help when I can like everyone should be. If you don't like the place find somewhere else to work.

It'd been better if they realized that not everyone there likes country music and kept it mixed, and I was far too important to surf between the UK vs South Carolina and Texas vs Sooners games on tv to attend the picnic.

I wouldn't go see Josh Gracin if a ticket was given to me. See, I do not lie.

the picnic, tour and concert were all good. I said it before and I'll say it again "If you don't like TG then get yourself another job".

I dont work at TG, but the company should consider the workers and families. Why should workers have to sellout when the company has money to waste on parties and donations to the city. Everyone should be working to save jobs, not trying to show off. (Friend of X-TGKY worker who is losing there home.)
