I agree wrote: <quoted text> Yes it was, called ahead and she opened up. I stated the facts for the person who asked whom to stay away from. Get over it. What exactly am I supposed to get over?? I was just asking a question myself. I have had to use after hours emergency services on a pet before (not in this state) and I was charged $200 (also paid up front)as the after hours fee just to have the appointment. That wasn't counting the lab work, x rays, and medicine charges. That was just to walk in the door to have the cat seen. I'm not here to argue with you. Just saying that an emergency fee is not out of the ordinary for care not during the regular office hours. If cheap is what you are going for when putting a dog down, Travis took care of Ol' Yeller on his own.

ive heard things about every vet in lebanon, except for town and country. they are absolutely wonderful. reasonably priced, compassionate, and down-to-earth people. thats where we have taken all of our dogs and even when we moved to lexington, we decided it was worth the drive back.
also i had a friend who worked at Cook's for a while and said she saw workers mistreat and actually kick the animals. another friend of mine said Cook's took advantage of her senile grandmother by repeatedly over-charging and over-medicating her small dog. asking her to come back every week for expensive tests and check ups, etc. none of these accounts are from my personal experience tho, just what i was told by friends.

I've worked and still work with all of the vets here in Lebanon. They all have good days and bad days. I can tell you horror stories about all of the vets but i've also seen the compassion from all of them. It's just a matter of personal choice who you use. Just make sure you have a vet. I've also used Dr Clint Durham from Green River Vet in Taylor County, he is great and worth the drive.

All Paws and Dr. St Germaine have done a ton of good deeds that no one will ever know about. They or Dr. St. Germaine, truely care about animals.

Please don't use the groomers at all paws,I'll not mention anything but I was so sorry I ever went there. Town and country has it all, wonderful Vets, and a groomer who is so kind and does a wonderful job. She is very patient and goes at the rate the animals are ready for.

Oh no, are you for real or are you donna in disguise. I've got three friends that took their dogs to T&C and they won't go back because of the butcher job that was done on their pets. All Paws groomers are as good as any around and they will take the dogs nobody else will. They (all paws) are always busy so sombody must like them.

i take my dog to all paws and I've never had a problem with them. I really like Lisa (the groomer), she is super friendly and always does a great job grooming my poodle. I tried town and country, however I felt all paws did a better job.

i know your rite wrote: <quoted text>thats sad.town and country will give you time with your animal, when they have to put them down.and we have a choc. lab,he hasa bad hip, they always take good care of him.when he needs his meds,i just run out there and no waiting for them.i have never used al paws,so i can't say anything about them.i have heard some things. Town and country are out to get your money. I picked a dead dog up after one week of him suffering. They knew he was going to die all along. They leaked that out to someone and it got back to us. Why put an animal through all that pain and have to pay all that money? I hate Town and country. My opinion though. We all have had bad experiences with a one vet or another. But I will not go back to town and country.

my opinion was reaffirmed this week! i took my new puppy in for shots and deworming and Dr. Ballard spent lots of time answering our questions and even giving an extremely valuable opinion on our other dog that we foolishly took to another vet. then to top it all off, she charged us $170 less than the other vet we called! she is so personable, honest, and caring. i now remember why we always drove all the way down from lexington. so much for trying to find a closer vet, we're gonna keep making the drive!! ps- i also noticed a plaque on the wall saying that Town and Country was voted best vet in a 2009 poll by the Lebanon Enterprise.
