In your opinion why or why not poor deserves free access to the internet?

My reply will be no because why should low class people be entiled free access to a luxury like the internet when most people has to pay for that same luxury out of there own pocket plus the taxes that gives those low life poor people the the right to access the net. As a taxpayer it's ticks me off that i've to pay for the unwanted burden that poor people gives this earth namely having so many sorry no good rotten kids and not have the resources to care for them.

If I was president right now I would abolish all this social welfare programs and send you able people that leeches off the goverment to work. I draft the young people whos not in college into the armed forces. Lastly I would install a three-child per family policy. All babies that shows signs of delveloping a mental disabillty would be aborted,as a cost protector against the healthcare infrastructure

Are you talking about people who go to the library? That is paid for by tax payers but we as tax payers are allowed to use the library computers, so that doesn't bother me. However, if I'm paying taxes specifically for these people to have the internet in their houses I am totally against it. If you had a group of people whom were starving, homeless, no medical insurance ect... What do you think would happen? Well some people would be fighting for food, kids would have to go to school sick which would get other kids sick, there would be so many people looking for work and fighting over jobs, children would be left unattended because parents would be working any way they could, crime would increase by no less than 30%, and when people like you get so old you can no longer work you would just have to suffer because there would be nothing to help you with things like medications, food or shelter.

I understand you don't like to pay taxes heck who does but it is not just for welfare you pay them, you pay them for schools, social security and such things too, Oh and just to let you know there is no welfare any more however there is programs to assist people who have dead beat parents until they can receive their child support payments which are also paid back by the absent parent. Assistance programs as such only last 24 months, How do I know this? I happen to be a case worker and a child advocate!

These rotten kids you are talking about didn't ask to be brought into this world and they deserve a chance to grow up and have the same accesses to information just like you do, Because they are Americans. I do not approve of people having children as a source of income do not get me wrong here however those children are not rotten just because they are poor they are equal to every other person in this United States! Not all individuals on assistance programs are leeches I know there are a percentage of people whom take advantage of the system but it is a small percentage considering the overall statistics.

Now as far as aborting a child for birth defects as a way to save the healthcare industry some money common you are talking about 20% of the population if not more not to mention some ones special child. Many single mothers use the Internet to get geds and take college classes so they can get good jobs and get off assistance programs, I do not think anyone should be denied Internet it is a tool that as far as I am concerned should be in every home. One might say it is a waste of good bandwidth for people to post ignorant hate filled threads on a forum too but as I said this is America and people have rights rich or poor like it or not. Oh and if you cant handle it perhaps you should join the military yourself and go see how some of these other countries live! Then again the Military will not accept cerebrally-challenged mental midgets or social cripples!

I'm not saying we get rid of all the assistance programs, but I do disagree w/primarily most of your statements. For instance, welfare was design to be a temp fix not a way of life. It has become abused my people who learn how to work the system. Healthcare will become the same thing. If we did away or limited the time frame on the assistance programs, perhaps some of these people would actually go get J O B. & start contributing to this great country. This great country was founded on hard work, I fore fathers would be a shamed to see what it has become today. We have allowed our youth to become lazy and expect hand outs. Concern Please re-read my post I did say and it is true when people sign up for the ktap program which is what replaced welfare they can only draw it for 24 months after that they will be given a job or cut off. Other than that which statements did you disagree with? I do not approve of people working the system and basically stealing what others really need. You said if we limited the time frame which people can get assistance it has been done no one can just lay around and have kids get a check and soak the system. They have to work now after 24 months.

That's tying up emergency services. Say what if a heart attack patient needed that ambulance,but the dumb parent and there nasty kid had to be so selfish and tie up the resources of ambulance service and the er for the a cold or a painful ear ache. A kid crying with a ear ache is nothing comparied to a heart attack,storke,or a burn victim.

Basiclly in the end the heart attack patient would be dead because of a selfish parent and there brat kid.

Medcaid should only the pay the er if the sick is serious enough to warrant a ER visit, If not the parents should get the bill because hospitals are more expense then a doctor.

I am not sure how to answer that question but I know for a fact that everyone has the right to free public schools in which you can learn to spell and properly construct a sentence or question.I suggest you look into that before trying to advise national government.
Just because you may have a job ,a home and are healthy now dosen't mean you always will . I would be careful what I wish for if I were you.

FYI don't critize people's poor grammar on the internet because it's much easier to mispell a word or make a grammar mistake using a keyboard then writing with a pencil becuase most of time people are in hurry tying what they want to say on these fourms and they usally don't bother checking grammar like it really matters,as long the point they are trying to make gets across who cares about grammar unless you are a annoying nitpicker.

Om the internet issue I wasn't reffering to the pubic school's internet service and who would want to use the school internet anyways because it's full of site filters and tracking software that leaves a footprint of what site you been on. I guess the Public Libary internet is also full of site blockers and trackers to keep tabs on which sites that people visits. So poor people your options are limited with public internet and who would want to use public internet with all the nasty germs that the computers gather.

I know two websites that the Libary or school has filtered out and that is warez and bitorrent sites and if don't know what they are your behind with the times. The sites may be sinful,but this sin has it's rewards.
