If you are thinking about switching OBGYNs, please consider Dr. James T. Dodge! He is an amazing man and I highly recommend him to anyone! He is located in Bardstown...if you live in Leb. it is well worth the drive! He will treat you with respect and as an individual not just another patient! Good Luck!

if you are talking about ackermann and reynolds, you'd be better off looking elsewhere - they seem to have too many patients as it is..the waiting room is always packed - every time i go i know i will be there for AT LEAST 2 hours, just in the waiting room. ackermann is a good doctor, very caring. reynolds, however, i wouldn't spit on if he were on fire. he's the most uncaring and insensitive man i've ever known.

i wouldn't trust any doctor in lebanon with anything in important...my daughter was delivered by dr. harrison in danville...i saw a whole team of obgyn's and they were all wonderful! giving birth to your child is one of the most important expreinces you will go through...please take time to choose the right doctor for you.

They both have delivered two of my children. Everything went well with both. Dr. Ackerman just tells it like it is. And Dr. Reynolds is just happy all the time. I would request him when I made my appointment. Who can afford to go out of town to the Dr. the way gas prices are?

i agree with patient. u have to wait for at least 2 hours everytim you go. i think they have so many patients, its time to start turning people away. they have too many patients and are constantly rushing you out.

HMMMM Ackermann and Reynolds must think or act alike because that is EXACTLY the way I feel about Ackermann(TOTAL JERK)He made me feel like I was about an inch tall and nobody should feel bad after going to a doctor.

Both are wonderful doctors and surgeons. Maybe you
all had better check credentials before you speak
out. They are busy because they are good. Good care should be worth the wait.

You got that right! I traveled there myself throughout my pregnancy. Now those doctor's really care! Tried for a long time to get pregnant they (Danville OBGYN) didn't push me aside and say we don't know what is wrong with you. You will probably have to have invitro or something. This prognosis only after three short months. Danville OBGYN's patiently helped me fix my problem in three years. And today my miracle is here. No thanks to them.

All I can say is that my wife has been a patient of Dr. Reynolds for 8 years now. He has helped us through a high risk Birth, a miscarriage, and a surgery. The man has always treated us with respect, and never told us anything but the cold hard truth. I will admit his bed side manner is differant, and I can see how some people would take that as inappropriate, but when it comes down to it he is a good Doctor. I have a healthy child, and wife to prove it.

I have given birth twice with Ackermann and Reynolds as my docs. I have a more personal relationship with Ackermann because he gave my some not so good results from some of my test. It wasn't really a big deal but I was traumatized. He was very comforting and informative on the subject. Reynolds is just a cut up but that does make some people feel uncomfortable. As with any professional in any profession, you'll find people's opinions ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other.
