Did you get MST Wireless and now it isn't working? Mine worked for two weeks and then it stopped working. I tried calling both of his numbers and emailing him several times. He never answered, never returned my calls or emails. I paid him $150 to set it up. He said that if I wasn't satisfied within 30 days I would get my money refunded and he would take down his stuff. I want my money back! Who else isnt satisfied?

I've had MST Wireless for 2 months now and no problems..Peavy stays pretty busy for the most part.. He's always doing things for other people and busy with Rescue..

We had Mst and we switched. WE had so many problems with him. He would never return our calls and his voice mailbox was always full. He would say he would come take care of it but it would take him weeks to do it. Have you ever looked at the address on the bill? I have never heard of the place and there is NO other telephone number (like an 800 number) to get in touch with customer service, just his cell phone. I won't recommend him to anyone.

We had MST but couldn't handle it. I understand if he's a busy guy but it would go out all the time. Also, before we got it we'd call and ask him when he would come and he'd say something like, "I'll be there tomorrow." and didn't show for a week until we called and asked again. This happened for another two weeks. He finally showed up. But after about 4 months of putting up with random disconections we switched.

Peavy will lie to you and tell you that he is coming to install and never show up. He did this to me and my husband 3 times. I told him to forget it. Windstream has a great package and they actually show up to install your equipment. Dognut if he is so busy helping people like rescue than he needs to get out of the internet business. Last I checked rescue was a volunteer job and wasn't mandatory only if you were free at the time of the call. They don't get used that much and if they do it's for grunt work like directing traffic because the cops don't want to do it. Also it doesn't pay and his MST job does pay seems like he would want to put food on the table instead of playing with his woo woo siren!

I work at one of the businesses downtown, and we had the services provided by Mr. Peavy. After many days/weeks of downed wireless service, the owner opted for a more secure and reliable system for the internet use. When the installer came to switch the hardware, he had informed us that the MST setup was a FIRE HAZARD. So to all out here who are subscribed w/ this provider BEWARE!!! disconnections are the least of your worries!

P.S. It took 2-3 weeks for Mr. Peavy to come and pick up the reciever

So why don't we all get something done about this. Sign a paper or something and turn it in to the county attorney. I personally would like to have my $150 back to use on getting another internet service installed.

Valid point you need to get your facts correct. Rescue does not only do traffic control as you stated. When it is done they do it to protect the ones that are involved, working, or passing through a scene not because the cops don't want to do it as you said. You where correct when you stated it was voluntary, but it is far more than just directing traffic. As for Mr. Peavy I haven't had any dealings with his wireless internet so I can't comment on it. We have Windstream and have been well satisfied.

What did you expect? It's Thomas Peavy, for goodness sake. Ask around, he's never been dependable at any of the jobs he has had from what I hear.

I'll bet that he is, um....having an affair, or, um.....doing drugs, or, um ....drinking, or, um....kicking dogs. The possibilities are endless. That's what I hear.

The problem with mst is most people that have it have it because they have no other option. They live in a area where any other provider is not available. Or at least not fast service. That's how it is with my Mom. MST is her only option. She has all the same problems as all you all have mentioned. She isn't totally happy with the service she just doesn't have any other choice.

I'm in the same boat as ur mom. It's either MST or no service at all. It does get to be a pain sometimes though.

Well also you have to look at the price of Thomas's internet... It's pretty cheap compared to most wireless providers.

Basically if you have windstream come hook up internet at your house your going to pay $100 for the small internet box and maybe hook up fees. You also have a contract.

Peavy's internet isn't that bad and most of the problems you can fix yourself just do a little reading on the internet about wireless configuration and how to refresh and renew your internet connections..... If your internet goes down try this.....

go to start
click run and type in cmd into the box
in the box type ipconfig /release
then type in ipconfig /renew
give it a few seconds and it will release and renew your wireless connection....

Also download spybot search and destroy from the internet (it is free) it will block all the spyware from coming into your computer causing slow internet browsing. Make sure you do the imunization process on that program to block all spyware you can get.

download a program called hijackthis (free)(sounds like a virus don't it) but it's a great tool. Run it and a big list will come up showing you all the stuff that is running when you start your internet browser...select everything and erase it... you might have to go back and readd your homepage again but it will get out all the spyware and internet sites that slow up your computer and hijack your browser.....

I've never seen a problem with MST that couldn't be fixed in a few minutes.
