You may be the stupidest human alive. It's secede. And if you think that any states will have enough votes for that, you're a dumbass. And if they did, you gonna go fight the war? For what? I hope you're killed in the civil war.

The Constitution guarantees the states' right to secede. Several states have already surpassed the required number of signatures for their secession to be given required consideration by the President.

And there were plenty of petitions about legalizing medical marijuana, gay marriage, banning abortion, you name it. If you receive enough votes, you get a canned response from a white house press intern. Whee!

No matter how many of you vote, it's up to the state government to get the ball rolling, not the people. Sorry, but it is.

No state will secede. Because every state, EVERY state is in some way reliant on federal funds or protection. If they aren't receiving federal money to pad their budgets and build schools and roads, they're at least receiving protection from the US military.

If you were to secede, you'd be looking at no federal money whatsoever. Fine, we'll just export crap right? To who? And who is gonna pay enough for our goods so we can support our own military? We're not just paying troops. It's 2012. You'd need billions in tanks, planes, drones, guns, ammunition. Everything. Maybe we could support our new government with taxes. Except who's going to have a job? The vast majority of jobs here in Lebanon alone are manufacturing for corporations from other states, or the government itself.

Please stop being ignorant and childish, people. Some of you are presumably adults with children of your own, and it scares me that you're allowed to cram your uneducated opinions down their throats. If you won't stop being idiots for me, think of your children.

Kentucky finally joins the Confederacy! This is absolutely hilarious! Without federal government, our beloved state would be a war zone that makes Rwanda look like a vacation spot.

This would be dumb as hell for any state to do. If you do this no one in any state will have feed weak funding. No one living in that state will be able to draw social security. So show me where this makes sense. Heck I'm a republican and this makes no sense.
