Ethic's Committee Coming to Lebanon

I am not as concerned about Richie Farmer's activity as I am the activity, or lack of, that goes on in my own committee. I will send a letter to Frankfort requesting the Ethic's Committee attention to the stealing that is going on in our community. Our tax dollars are being used for things other than what they need to be used for. I was out at the aquatic center and there were trees growing from the gutters of that building! There is talk of vehicles getting washed and detailed out there. Matthew Mattingly should take more interest in his job than he does. I have been attending park functions for years and I am sick of watching those workers sit on their butts, right in the stands with the taxpayers, only difference is that they are getting paid to sit there, with our tax dollars.

Our city council members are a hoot - Vote for me, I'll be great, I'll work for you - what BS. They have been told repeatedly about the misuse of tax dollars - duh, are they talking to me? Yes we are and why aren't you listening? If you don't have time for the job - please give it up and quit being a joke to the community.

I am also going to send a letter to our governor about the use of state vehicles that everyone is given here in this town, we're a small town with a big fleet of vehicles out on the road, for personal use. I have to buy and gas my car and so should everyone else.

I am tired of being disgruntled over tax dollar waste and I am going to start doing something about it, get on board and help out, voice your gripe. Let's work together and stop the thieves!

One more thing, the article in the enterprise, thanking our City Workers for all of the time they DONATE - big joke - not time donated, they get PAID - OVERTIME, so this is not a donation of their time so everyone can stop patting them on the back already.

Let's make a game out of this and see who can name the greatest misuse of taxpayer dollars, who knows maybe those city council members can read and they might get the message that we are tired of them sleeping on the job!

I will have to defend the judge, he had no opposition last time so..........

This is a blast - while we're discussing thievery let's talk about city water works - my bill keeps climbing so I have really started to take notice - I see that the city water truck at ballgames, at funerals, at doctor's offices, on farms. at church, why one would think that this was a personally owned truck instead of city owned - yes taxpayers we pay for his gas and for his truck. My question is. why isn't the truck left at the water company when he goes home? When did the city become so wealthy that we can provide trucks for the workers and why isn't our mayor and administrator taking care of this and why aren't our city council members looking over the mayor and administrator shoulders to make sure they do Their Jobs? I have worked for 45 years and never have I been provided a ride by taxpayers. This. Needs. To. Stop.

That doesn't mean he's doing that great of a job. He needs to get off his butt and do what he said he was going to do. He will have opposition next election.

Perhaps he will have opposition next election but in this county it doesn't seem to be about what the elected official can do to help but a whole lot about the popular one ending up with the majority of the votes whether or not they are actually the best person for the job. I would be wonderful to vote someone in that would be able to do the right thing for all concerned and not be worried about their next election!

this is definitely a job that I wouldn't take - it's like "who is in the hot seat now". this is a risky risky job, It would leave one to believe that working with Lebanon officials is not such an easy task. tsk tsk. It is very apparent that we don't need this position, the seat is empty more than it's filled. blah!
