Uncle Huffy's Barbecue: 'The meat is always tender and the sauce is so sweet'

Each one is 1 1/2 to 2 pounds. We have people come in, including a little lady, who can put them away. Back in 1976, Don Huffmon was in his late 20s and didn't seem old enough to be a barbecue expert. 'There was a bar called the Stonehenge (in Lebanon),' said Don, now 60. 'The owner there said I needed a name that sounded older, so they started calling me Uncle Huffy. They thought calling me 'Uncle' would make me seem older.' Whether or not the name helped, people flocked to the bar for Uncle Huffy's sweet and tangy barbecue sauce. Now, he has a barbecue place of his own named -- what else? -- Uncle Huffy's Barbecue on E. A few weeks ago i stopped in Uncle Huffy's after I seen someone dancing if front of the business in a pig suit. I didn't even know the business was there until i seen the pig dancing and waving at every passing car. What a way to advertise!!!! I thought it was hilarious and decided to stop in for a bite. The bbq chicken was great!!! Everyone was friendly especially the pig. I plan on stopping by with my grandchildren and hope the pig will be there!!! I'm sure they would love it!!! GIVE THE PIG A RAISE!!!

Iate there recently and had the best bbq pork steak of my life.Since then I,ve had people that I told about it,go there and every one of them said the same thing. check it out......

yea that'll never happen have you seen the bonehead responses from that person... not much of a life if all they can do is hide behind a fake name and poke fun at people and what they say.. My advice to you is give up on this website ... its useless because almost all the people on this site... are useless

I hope Uncle Huffy sticks around a long time! All the food there is wonderful! I'm usually not a big pork eater, but the pulled pork sandwiches are better than anything I've ever tasted! And the Gooey Pupmpkin dessert tastes so good I thought I died and went to heaven! You need to try the food! And everyone there is so friendly...
