I TRULY HOPE THAT MR.JEFF MILLER GETS WHAT HE DESERVES, HE HAS DESTROYED SO MANY FAMILIES AND THEIR HOMES HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE OF HIS FRAUDULANT DEALINGS. HE ALONG WITH THE OTHER EIGHT SHOULD DO PRISION TIME AND HAVE TO PAY BACK MONEY TO BANKS AND TO VICTIMS TO WHOM HE SCREWED, I JUST HOPE THE JUSTICE SYSTEM DOES IT'S JOB AND RIGHT THE WRONG THESE PEOPLE HAVE CAUSED.

Many builders are engaging in predatory if not outright fraudulent lending, on top of shoddy construction now. A few of the smaller companies like Miller and his band of thieves are getting caught, finally, and I hope they end up doing serious jail time. However, many larger companies are engaging in unethical and sometimes illegal practices, too, and they're not on trial and should be. These big companies have the money to buy their way out of it by paying fines to govt agencies like HUD, then "admitting to no wrong doing." The fines may be hundreds of thousands or even millions but it's no skin off their noses. KB Home even stated in an article years ago that a multi million dollar fine by HUD for its lending practices would not hurt their bottom line. Jail is necessary to deter others. Fines are treated as a fee that allows them to profit from crime or shady business. Fines are not punishment.

Mr. Miller has caused heartache and devastation of many lives. He continues to walk the streets, attends sporting events, live his life fully with NO remorse - only self pity. His lack of empathy and the ablilty to accept the consequences as a result of his actions will only prolong the inevitable. When will someone look into how he built his own home? It is factual that he charged unexpecting new home owners for building materials that were returned for credit which allowed him to build his home. Justice will serve - I hope.

F jeffrey Miller has made a ton of people happy. He gave people a chance to own a home, smart people took advantage of it and are very thrilled. So for you people uncapable of holding a mortgage and wanna point your fingers at someone, point them at your parents for not raising you right. And for the record, every bank jeff has ever delt with has been paid and were willing to do what they could to help him out. not ONE bank was out money. Jury proved you all are a bunch of morons when the verdict on 57 counts was "not guilty".

Admittedly I don't know much about the case and can't speak to the facts, but it's important to remember that 'not guilty' is really 'not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt'.
