A higher sales tax to begin Thursday in Kansas

When the government says it needs more money, my
thought is that I do too. Government has the power,
not the right, to take more. Because the
legislature can't find the courage to live within
it's means, taxpayers are forced to live with less.
More money in peoples hands will lead to more spending on goods and more tax revenue than sucking
buying power out of the economy.

As a former Kansan I am so happy to be living in Florida. I lived there for 55 years and saw how the state treated the citizens of Kansas. The Personal property tax, State income tax, sales tax.
Real estate tax, You name it they tax it.
Florida, no state income tax, no personal property tax, no tax on groceries (Food). I should have left years earlier.
